I was looking for this at my local pool supply store. For whatever reason they sell it for several dollars more. "It's just salt." I would recommend buying this salt at Sam's Club instead of your local pool supply store! Also, Sam's Club has the worst search engine for items I have ever used!.

I found the granules to be too large. It would dissolve much quicker (and not sink to the bottom of the pool) if it were a finer salt. When setting up the pool, we used another (more fine) brand that was left over from last year. It would dissolve before hitting the bottom of the pool. We then finished with this product. This stuff is like throwing large sand (slightly smaller than bee bee sized grains) into the pool. Yes, it eventually dissolves, but would be better to not have it all sitting on the bottom of the pool for several hours (or a day or two).

Ive never had a problem with this salt. I live in the hot and humid salt so sometimes we get bags that have been compromised and it has hardened the salt. It still dissolves relatively easy if you push it around every few minutes. Always hit my ppm levels easily after a prolonged rain though.

Pool Salt does what it should. It dissolves pretty quickly. and looks like it should last a long time. It didn't take much to get to the level needed for my chlorine generator for my spa. I actually lost control and put too much in and had to drain a lot of water out and refill to get balance right again.

I will only use Morton Pool Salt!!!! I now overbuy at the beginning of every pool season since it does not go bad. I've never had an issue in 10 years of use. Buyer beware - a few summers ago Morton was out of stock so bought Clorox pool salt. It caused severe staining and cost $150. in products to remove the stains.

This is the best product i've used, but the walmart I purchased it from last year changed and doesn't offer it this year for some reason. Same brand at same price, but not the quick dissolve professional choice. this years stocked salt is slow to dissolve and much harder to use as it must be broadcast over the surface. The quick dissolve type can just be poured in over the return and you're done. Please go back to quick dissolve!

Walmart's storage for pool salt is very wrong and unprofessional. Most of the bags were ripped open which then make a mess. In addition the pool salt was stored outside, exposed to rain and moister. Some of the bags were rock solid due to being outside. I will never buy pool salt there again

I wish we would have read the reviews before purchasing this product! You think Morton is a quality brand! We got a brand new liner and needed more salt—the amount of trash and rocks it put into our pool was very disheartening! Steer clear of this product!

It's pool salt people. I bought 18 bags on clearance for $3. Better that $8

Great product for an even greater price!
