Works just like it should, easy open bag with a handle. Bags are 40 pounds so make sure you know that before you try to lift up to the side of the pool. Dissolved completely in 16 foot pool in about 2 hours. Poured whole bags in while filling pool and as the water level increased the salt dissolved.

The salt I received was in dirty bags that looked like they had been in a flood. The salt was no longer granular but one solid chunk that I had to beat it on my patio to break it up to use it . I needed it right away, and it did come right away to the store so I just dealt with extra work and mess.

this is more like rock salt for your driveway than it would be for your pool. if you purchase this salt, be prepared to have to sweep it around the bottom of the pool until it dissolves. I've ordered pool salt and picked up pool salt. that's fine. granule and dissolves almost instantly on its own. this is like throwing a bag of gravel in the bottom of your pool

In this case excellent Durability is bad. It dissolves quickly and leaves water crystal clear.
