I have used for several seasons, but not the best quality. Salt contains small rocks and even tiny pieces of metal. I had dive underwater to get the multiple pieces of metal out of my pool before it pierced my liner. From that point on, I dissolve the salt in a trash can and use a bucket to add to the pool to prevent debris getting in. Don't add salt directly if your pool has a vinyl liner.

Not a fine powdery salt that dissolves quickly, it's larger granules of salt. All the salt accumulated at the bottom of the pool. Had to agitate the salt with the brush and a hose to get it to dissolve. Clorox salt was so much better and easier to distribute.
