It did take me a few sleeps to get used to this mattress, but MAN once I did, it was heaven. I was having the worst back pain with my old bed and found immediate relief with this. It’s so comfortable and supportive, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a new bed.

I was struggling to get good sleep and my mattress was causing me a lot of joint pain. I have never liked firm mattresses before, so I thought I had chosen a medium firmness. When I received the mattress it was very firm. I decided to give it some time. Quickly I noticed I was falling asleep faster and staying asleep. I felt more rested, even as a new mom. Over time the mattress began to soften a little, but still provided a lot of good support. My body and joints don’t hurt as much, and I find the cooling technology seems to be working. I am really impressed with this mattress.

This mattress has exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and support. The hybrid design provides the perfect balance of pressure relief and firmness, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The stuff is breathable and comparable to expensive brands. The quilted top layer adds a luxurious touch, and the mattress feels sturdy and well-made. From materials, to design, to craftsmanship, it embodies luxury. It's plush, stable, and supportive. It also comes with conveniently placed handles on the sides that make it extremely easy to move. I also really love the fact it's not white, which can quickly show signs of wear even with a mattress protector. The first time I laid my weary bones upon my newly bequeathed mattress, it felt like my body left the mortal plane and ascended to the stars. It was like sinking into a cloud of hugs and marshmallows. I'm not ashamed to admit that it brought a tear to my eye. (Ok, several tears). Long story short, sleep is my frenemy. I have a connective tissue disorder that causes weak joint connections and severe chronic pain. My joints shift and dislocate easily, especially if I sleep "wrong". In the past, I've woken up more injured than I was before I want to sleep. I love sleep, but it doesn't love me back. In a month of sleeping on this mattress, I have experienced such pain relief that I am not the same person I was prior. My joints feel more stable, my back muscles stopped constantly spasming, and my hips and shoulders no longer feel like they’re collapsing in on themselves. I wake up feeling genuinely rested, which has been nearly impossible for me in the last few years. The pillow-top layer is perfect for side sleeping. It has a memory foam quality that conforms to my body, leaving my shoulders and hips supported without feeling crushed. The layer beneath the pillow top is supportive with great bounce and weight distribution. I never wake when my husband gets up for work, which attests to the quality design. I also love that I never feel too warm, which has been incredible as a very hot sleeper. My only complaint is that I never want to get out of bed!! Serta, you have ruined me for all other beds. This mattress has given me more than a good night of sleep, it has completely changed my life. If you're shopping for a new mattress, look no further than the Serta Perfect Sleeper X. It's worth every penny and then some!! So comfortable, we selected the medium firmness and we sleep better than we have in a long time, very little movement when we turn over, our prior bed made each other wake up with slightest movement. Now we hardly feel anything and sleep through almost the whole night. I appreciate Influenster allowing me to try out such a fantastic product, forever grateful for their generosity..

An amazing value and an incredible, durable, high quality mattress. It is pretty breathable. I do sweat a little but not nearly as much as my previous mattress.
