I have chronic back, shoulder, and joint pain due to arthritis. I was a little sore through my shoulders and hips the first couple nights and then starting sleeping great...it does take about a week to fully break in. I look forward to going to bed each night and wake up feeling refreshed and without any back pain. I would buy this bed again in a heartbeat.

VERY firm mattress, which was a definite adjustment from our pillowtop; however, it's well worth it! We both sleep a lot better and wake up with no more back pain, or joint pain. I highly recommend this if you're experiencing any sort of back issues or neck pain.

This is our second. The first was good foe 15 years before human sized body divots drove us mad. Four years in a knock of and we are back. There was no adjustment period. It was perfect from the first night. This one is not as good at absorbing your partner's movements but it's a small price to pay for a good night's sleep.

Purchased this product because of reviews, Seems to be great quality however mattress is anything but firm. I sink when I sit on this mattress, not back supporting at all as described. The base is GREAT quiet & no problem at all, mattress I can't say the same about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LuxeAdapt Firm to replace my previous discontinued Tempur-Pedic mattress, the Grande, which I had had for 16 years and with which I was very happy. I was told the Firm would be the closest match, but it is much less "plush" on top and way too hard for me. Even after "breaking it in" for several weeks it's still too uncomfortable. I want to exchange it, but customer service is not exactly spry on that topic....

It was time to replace it, so I bought into the notion of another competitor - dual zones to adjust for individual needs. I suffered for two years with thar competitor's bed. Tried adjusting it countless times but still woke up with a sore back every night. It just does not give the same support that tempur-pedic beds do. Since the very first night on my new tempur-pedic bed my back pain has gone away and sleeping through the night. So grateful!

I haa add be been wanting to own a Temper Pedic forever, always compromising and regretting the compromises after months and years of other beds. For the first time I can say, this is the best bed I've ever had or slept in. I can sleep on my side now without any shoulder problems. Although this bed classified as soft, it is not soft. On my side I sink down to the correct spot and sleep well. My Chiropractor will not appreciate this purchase since my back issues have now been resolved. I did not like the off gassing or the smell for almost two weeks. Has this off gassing been studied? I sure hope it's not a carcinogen. 4 Stars for the best bed ever! -1 Star for the off-gassing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am normally a picky sleeper, but... this mattress has it all! I sleep throughout the entire night since my purchase! I know it can be a hefty bill to purchase a tempurpedic mattress, but worth every penny.

I have an autoimmune disease that makes getting out of bed a real chore. Our bed was too soft so we "upgraded" to this one. In the showroom it felt nice, for the few minutes we tried it. Once it was delivered we quickly realized it's way too firm. Of course the store we bought it at told us we had a 180 night sleep trial, well the paperwork said otherwise and they did not honor it. We are now stuck with a terribly expensive uncomfortable bed.
