I ordered three - all boxes showed damage, with packing tape to 'fix' the damage. There was damaged shelf product in each -was able to salvage enough parts to assemble 2 units, returned 1 to the store. Ordered a replacement - it arrived in worse condition than any of the first 3. Currently working with the manufacturer instead of the Walmart store.

If the shipper handles the flimsy package with care you can set up this shelving unit in about 30 minutes and you will have a sturdy shelf. I had ordered two shelves, one I could set up, one I had to return to the local Walmart store - dragging a 100 lbs package to the Customer Center. I was torn between a good rating and giving only one star - but the product is good if it arrives in good condition - blame FedEx or the supplier that skimps on the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shelving unit was not a stand alone unit. So, I returned it. But it may have been my mistake. If the web site said that the shelving unit had to be anchored to a wall or the floor, then it was my mistake. When I received the product and I read the directions, I found out that the shelving unit did not stand alone on its own. I returned it.

Bottom half of shelf and top half of shelf are supposed to be connected using the shelf brackets but the shelf bracket pins are not wide enough to do so. Basically, had to rig it by purchasing nuts and bolts to connect the 2 halves. Do not reccomend this item unless you have hours of your life to figure out how to rig this shelving unit and if you do have the time, I still wish you the best of luck.

This is the 4th rack that I have purchased because they are lightweight to move around, but tough as nails to hold heavy glass objects, paper products, comforters, towels and packaging supplies that I have in my organized basement. I use these in the garage as well. Adjustable shelves allow you to work with your needs. Love that all my stuff is off the floor! GREAT ITEM!!!! Fantastic PRICE.

Love these shelves, they are very sturdy. The deep shelves hold many items, I use mine for my canning jars and canned goods. They have a woods like smell that lingers for awhile, I find it pleasant. If I had a complaint it would be that there is nothing to keep the legs from scratching a floor, we solved this with heavy duty floor protectors....you can find them in the hardware aisle.

honestly when I first opened the box I thought this ain't going to work. but then I put it together step by step, and as you put it together it becomes sturdier and sturdier and I now have five of them assembled and loaded, I got another one to assemble and load and I'm about to order three or four maybe five more of them. they're great shelves. highly recommend if you have a garage or basement that needs to be organized these things will do the job.

I got 2 units on a special price order so I saved $20 that was nice, they also arrived two days earlier and had no damage that was nice. The boxes are very heavy. The units go together easily, however another pair of hands would help because it can get wobbly while assembling. The finished product is very nice and strong. My units are in my garage. My only concern is if the wooden shelves will warp over time.

Once I put it together it is a large heavy strong unit. I was surprised that the shelves were pressed wood, but they are very solid. The only problem is in the assembly and the directions. The corner post are two pieces stacked one on top of the other connected by a side and an end rail. When installing them they will not stand until you have all of them connected and the next shelf solidifies the unit. The directions say nothing about this. I thought I was assembling it wrong and wasted a lot of time and energy trying to do it correctly. The pictures aren't very good.

I was disappointed in how thin the shelves are and I believe they will sag in the future with heavy items on them. There were no instructions on how to put it together but I have had a shelving unit like this before so I was able to put it up by my self. I bought this unit because of the 24 inch deep shelves, they will hold a lot of items.
