This product does not have brackets to be at the height of the shelf which is 72'' you can only go three high on the shelf when going to stack the fourth shelf you have to over lap which Is in possible because the braces notches are too short to fit to overlap braces together i need my money back this is a joke

It's sturdy and easy to assemble as long as you have another person assisting you with installation. Some of the braces and beams ends are bent and requires a little straightening to sit well. It's deep enough that you can put a lot of stuff on it and of course the shelves are adjustable to you required needs. It would also be better to have a support beam at the bottom of each shelf for stability. Although the boards look sturdy enough normal wear and tear will erode the particle board.

I put this together in about an hour, including the unpacking and cleanup. Make sure you have a hammer to tap the uprights and shelf brackets together securely. The price is better than any other places I regularly shop plus WalMart threw in free shipping. I highly recommend this storage rack to anybody who wants a sturdy and functional place to store their goodies.

Walmart was a great place to purchase these shelving units being that they were less expensive than the very same units at home improvement stores. The packaging Edsal uses is very poor and therefore two of the 3 units I ordered were damaged. Walmart sent out new ones immediately. The units are strong and very easy to assemble. No screws which made it very quick. Adjustable shelving makes for great basement storage.

Overall, this is a great product that I am very satisfied with. I had one minor issue that the manufacturer addressed immediately, and there is one other minor aspect that I would recommend others to consider before buying it. I ordered 4 of these shelving units. At the time of this review I have constructed 2 of them and I think they are going to work out great. They all delivered within a few days in 2 shipments. The boxes were very heavy, so they were kind of beat up, and unfortunately one box was damaged so badly that a critical part had fallen out during shipment. The manufacturer (Edsal) provided a phone number and clear instructions for dealing with missing or damaged parts, so I called them and they said the missing brace would be shipped to me in 3-5 business days at no cost. Other than that, there was some minor damage to the edges of the wood shelf planks, but nothing problematic. (There was no in-store pick-up option when I ordered these, but if that option is available, I would recommend it over having these shipped to your house to avoid damage.) These shelves are not complicated to construct, as there is no hardware involved and the only tool you really need is a mallet to ensure the braces/beams are properly seated. It is way easier to build with two people, but could probably be done by one. The design provides flexibility in how much space to leave between shelves, which is nice. However, keep in mind that there must always be a shelf in the very middle to hold the posts on the top half to the posts on the bottom half (unless you build it as two lower shelf units). This limits your ability to space out the shelves evenly if you want a larger gap. That threw me off a little, but all in all, I am finding these shelves to be a great alternative to building my own.

The system is a solid and would be a 5 star design, but for a really difficult assembly process. The shelves are sturdy and the metal structure seems strong. We use it in a warehouse and it seems really solid. The problem with the assembly is that Verticle metal structures are not one long piece of metal. They are two and they connect through and incredibly poorly-designed, janky ... I don't even know what to call it. The bottom of the top section sort of sits on the bottom section and at the same time the middle of the five shelves. I built five of these things and not one came together right. They all ended up practically hammered into place to just get it to function. Other than that really bad design, the other assembly was actually easy and if the Verticle metal pieces were one part instead of 2 this would be a 5 star review. But that flaw is a real drawback over the easier to assemble plastic shelves.

I needed sturdy easy-to-assemble shelving for boxes of financial records. The boxes are heavy and I wanted something that wouldn't feel top heavy or prone to lean. The shelves were a breeze to assemble, as built the structure feels stable and it was an excellent value. I expect to order another like it very soon.

I only gave 3 stars because the manufacturer, Edsel, does not provide hardware to join the top and bottom frame pieces. Instead, they expect you to join the two pieces by putting a shelf there. Not only does this mean you cannot choose the distance between the shelves but also expecting a joint to hold with a shelf with weight put on it. Unless, of course you put nothing on that shelf. Also, it is difficult anyway to join the pieces using just the shelf brackets as they are too small to adequately hold the pieces together. The instructions indicate to use post couplers but these were not included with my shelve. Apparently the shelves are sold with the couplers but also without. The website for the company indicates these can be bought on Amazon. But they were currently unavailable on Amazon. I reached out to the company, Edsel, to find out where I could get these couplers and was told that their shelves do not need additional hardware to put together. So the company that makes these does not even know how to put them together. My son in law went to Home Depot and bought some bolts and washers and was able to securely join the top and bottom pieces together. And we were able to place the shelves where we wanted. And we are not placing any weight on the joint between top and bottom. So these are good shelves but I would recommend to either buy them with the post couplers or be prepared for a trip to the hardware store.

This is a good shelf but could be improved by either making the vertical posts all one piece or improving how the vertical posts are fastened together. To assemble the shelf you need to fasten two vertical posts together using the holes in the horizontal braces. If an additional bracket would be added it would strengthen the connection between the posts.

The legs come in two sections, the bottom three shelves is one section and the top two shelves is a different set of legs that sit on top of the other four. There is nothing to secure your legs with your bottom legs. We wired the top and bottom legs for security.
