ok

Overall, the unit is fine, but a couple corners were cut to keep the price low which now that I know, I will be willing to pay a little more in the future to get a more secured frame and better quality shelves. the most difficult part was connecting the upper corner bars with the lower. Definitely easier if you have two people doing this part, but I did this myself which made it far more difficult to assemble than a similar unit I assembled from another manufacturer which had connectors to secure the top and bottom sections.

Poor Quality

I bought this shelf because I thought it was similar to another shelf I own. The price seemed like a deal but you get what you pay for. The frame didn't fit together securely even after tapping the ends into the grooves. This shelf was not able to be assembled unless I glued the pieces in place. That defeats the purpose of having the shelf because it could never be used again if it were ever disassembled. That left me with a heavy shelf that was a pain to get back to the store to return. I'm very angry and disappointed about this purchase.

Too wide for the flimsy shelves!

The steel frame is ok, but you will have to replace the shelves. 1. The shelves will never make it home without the corners broken, for they are 1/2 inch thick pressed sawdust. 2.The description says they will each hold 800 lbs. they will not hold bedpillows without bowing! No center brackets. I replaced them with 3/4 inch plywood. That made a sturdy rack.

These shelves are poorly designed

These shelves would work great if the posts where a single piece design. The way the post slots are positioned causes the weight of the upper shelves to unhook the bottom hook where it is connected at the middle. I hate leaving a bad review but when something is falling apart when you are trying to put it together there is something wrong.... On paper the design works but in reality the design collapses on itself.

Product good - packaging awful

This arrived in a box that was dented and banged up - when I opened it a couple of the shelf corners were chipped & broken (but not badly enough to make it worth trying to return, since the whole thing was SO heavy!). And the kicker -- NO assembly instructions! Once I finally figured it out by trial and error, it has been a good unit.

Shelving

I purchased the 2 in a pack shelving to make my small bedroom into a full closet for kitchen items and linen. I'm absolutely thrilled with th results. The 24" depth and sturdy shelves did the trick for now and future needs. I handled the project alone and the instructions were very easy to follow. However I reminded myself of many of the Lucille Ball and Ethel episodes as I would get a section almost completed and the other side would fall or lean. I recommend getting two units because once you get the first one completed the second one is a breeze!! I will purchase more as needed. Price was good and free ship to store was quick.

Do not buy this

These shelves are absolute trash. Can't support any weight, the low-quality particle shelf slips under the frame right away. Such bad design. Seriously one of the worst purchases ever. Now i have to figure out how to return this mess during the quarantine. Not getting much support. Stay away.

Inexpensive but not great quality

This is totally a get-what-you-pay-for item. On sale it's less than $60, which is far less than what other units cost. However, it's difficult to put together where the vertical side bars on the top half connect to the vertical side bars on the bottom half, and the quality is not great. The particle board shelves always arrive with chunks missing on the corners, and the shelves start to bow very quickly even without a lot of weight.

Nice Item for the Price

I like this a lot, read some of the negative reviews, but really have no issues. The box arrived in good shape, all pieces there and nothing damaged. Put together by myself in about an hour, had my wife help me once to hold when connected bottom and top sections. The shelf wood is not the greatest quality, but should be more than enough for what is needed. Plus cost is excellent.
