Purchased two months ago and finally got around to lutting together. Have used similar racks, these are am easy setup for one person. My two shelves included couplers, wood was all intact. However, one of the sheleves had a leg that was 1/2" short causing it to be uneven and wobbly. Added some beneath the short leg since it was all together by the time I really noticed. Overall satisified but will have to see of the wood holds up over time.

Average

Shelving is basically bulsa wood, took everything out of the box and the corners were chipped or broken. A few of the metal rails were bent so getting everything to fit right was a pain. If I didn't have a rubber mallet putting this together would have been extremely difficult. If you want the shelving side by side vs vertical the directions are. I help. Over all it's not a bad purchase, we will see how long it holds up

Product was Destroyed in Shipping

I received my order on 10/14/13... The comment I have is the way the product was packaged. First the box weighs close to 100 lbs. each, there was no strapping or hand holes for anyone to grab to lift it. I don't know how the UPS driver ever got to my front door. I know I struggled to get the boxes into my house. Secondly the box itself did not have any corner protection and consequently the corners on all the MDF shelves were broken. I don't know how this could be resolved because if I returned the units for replacement, I am certain the new units would show up in the same condition. I guess I will have to go to Home Depot to replace the (10)2'x4' MDF shelves, (3) 4'x8' sheets cut into quarters . The cost is approximately $60.00. Again, I can not blame UPS, either Edsal or Walmart should have made sure the packaging was adequate for shipping and lifting. Sign me very disappointed ...

More "shaky" than I expected but should still work

This shelving unit will really have to live up to its promise of 1000 lbs. capacity! I am a school teacher who needed a lot of storage space for younger grade level books and supplies that I won't be using this year. The shelves were in great condition except for 1 long beam piece. It was bent on the corner and only 1 of the 2 screws could be popped into place on the side piece. I saved it for the top shelf and did not put the heaviest items on that one. All other parts were fine. It assembled quickly once I got started correctly on the bottom shelf. When I began placing items on each shelf, it was a little wobbly, but it is braced against a wooden cabinet and wall, so I think it will work. The plywood shelves made a little bit of a mess--the corners "shed" when putting them in place. I'm anxious to see how they handle the weight of all those books.

fair

The product quality is fair. Plastic feet are not included Bases of the posts are bare steel. Post splicing brackets are not included. Rather, the third shelf is used to aligned the upper and lower sections of the L-shaped posts. See attached photo. This design restricts the user's ability to position the third shelf at other height. Shelves are made of unfinished particle board. It is unclear why the product name contains the term "Muscle Rack" as there is no other indication on the shipping carton or the instruction leaflet to indicate anything other than Edsal. The product arrived late. The order was placed on 11/25/16. The estimated arrival date was 12/8/16. Actual pick up date was 12/8/16. Actual arrival date was 12/14/16.

Do not purchase item online, go to a WALMART store

I have no complaints about the product itself, but ordering it online, you deal with Edsal, not Walmart for any issues. I ordered these for a surprise for my boyfriend and the package came missing well over 10 parts. So much for a surprise! I called the phone number they give you to Edsal, they said they would ship the missing items free of charge....2 weeks later, I got SOME of the missing parts. I am still missing 8 parts. I have called their customer service number, you never get a live person, you leave a message to get a call back. It is 3 days now, no call back. I would only purchase this item IN a Walmart store that way you can return it and deal with them directly.

ZERO STARS! MISSING COUPLERS!!

ZERO STARS! Missing COUPLERS! I bought the original shelves last year and they are just beautiful! Walmart said they are now replacing those with these but these are supposed to be "new and improved".. all LIES! These boards are crumbling apart and these DO NOT INCLUDE the very necessary COUPLERS needed to build the shelves. the instructions says it's included but there is no diagram of it on the paper. the box was breaking apart and everything is just wrong! I ordered 8 of these shelves for my warehouse and what an absolute waste of both money and time! the pictures with fabric is the original ones. the pics without are these ones, there are no coupler brackets to stack the shelves up.

Ok I love this for the do storage, sturdy design and tons of space... but omg it was so hard to put together. There is NOTHING included called "connectors" to connect the top to the bottom. I finally figured it out by doubling the rails onto the tabs and they BARELY fit but so far they're holding. No connectors but that's not what the instructions said. I called support and left a message and got a return call three days later so there you go.

Busted wood

Either Walmart or shipper (FedEx) messed up the box badly. Ends if the wood shelf was smashed to heck. Also the vertical supports are two pieces. So it is a little unstable and very hard to get assembled correctly. Don't buy this model. And if you do, don't have it shipped to store or your home. Only buy if it's in stock at the store already.

No couplers which are pictured on Walmart.com site

This particular version (UR245P-BLK ) does not have the four couplers in the parts list, but refers to using them in the instructions. You can see them in the product picture on the Walmart.com website, but there were none in the box. Other reviewers mention this as well. Without the couplers, you are basically trying to stack four corner posts that are less than a millimeter thick, on top of each other. And as it lists that this can take 4,000 pounds evenly distributed, how is this supposed to be stable enough for 800 pounds per shelf on the top half? Without the couplers, this is extremely dangerous and unusable.
