The upper and lower sections are connected with 1 stud each, seems like this would be a safety issue was you put stuff on upper shelves.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This is of POOR quality made with bagasse board. It came damage with the bagasse board shelling apart.

Difficult to assemble top and bottom corners together. It should have come with bolts instead of using just the crossbars to hold it together.

About average as far as easy of putting together, and quality of craftsmanship. For the price, its what you would expect.

It can be a little tricky to put together sinxe the beams tend to pop out of the rivets. Keep a hammer on hand and be patient. Happy with the finished product.

The assembly is straight forward and easy to do. The shelf wasn't very sturdy as a stand alone shelf. The uprights buckled when approx. 20lbs was added.
