I won't buy any other tires. The Michelins that I replaced on my GMC Sierra truck had 101,000 miles and had plenty of tread remaining. The new Michelins are amazing and the ride is even better than before with the 3 year old set. I'm a Michelin tire fan for life. Getting ready to put a new set on my GMC Yukon XL.

just got the tires for my Suv and its been a month they seem to do a fine job getting through the snow , stopping and starting is a breeze. I never paid attention to the performance of a tire, but after go through my 4th set on the same suv I thought I would try a different type and so far I love em.

In the last two weeks I have had two sets (265/65/17) installed and now they are coming of my 4Runner and being replaced with another brand. I have always heard that Michelin was a top tire, but my experience has been terrible. Two out of four from the last set were out of round and it didn't matter what method of balancing was used (we tried road force and traditional) and it didn't matter. The first set was worse so i expect they had the same problem. Very unhappy with the amount of time and trips to tire shop dealing with bad manufacturing / quality control. Will never purchase again.

Just had my oil changed on my GMC 3500 Duramax SRW. They were checking tire pressure and pointed out that the max tire pressure on my Michelin Defender LTX 265/70R18's on the front of my 1 Ton Truck are 44psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. The rear tires, same size, same tread pattern, same sidewall, same markings, is 80psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. Wow, the only difference i can see on the tires is three little numbers and evidently distinguish tire "rating". A great tire, this is my third set, but buyer beware that you may not be getting the appropriate tire (different speed/weight rated Defender Tires are absolutely mirror images) rated for your vehicle...MY mistake for not checking it AND Michelin's for making the tires exactly the same to the undeducated consumer. Guess that explains the blowout i had on I80 and the destroyed wheel...and thankful that after three trips from Nevada with a trailer in tow twice, once to Delaware, once to Florida, and another to Texas were without an accident...I need to go replace them before i tow my Toyhauler or Gooseneck Eqluipment Trailer again.

I have these tires on my 06 4X4 Dodge Diesel and they are not at all to be used on regular dirt roads (not off-roading). I have gotten two flats where the tires were penetrated by a rock. Too expensive for the quality of tire. This tire is designed for people that never get off the highway for anything.

Have had 7 LTX-MS2 tires replaced in the last year. Failures ranged from blowout at freeway speeds due to tread separation, sidewall puncture, tread penetration thru the belts by virtually anything. The 6th was a sudden sidewall failure and upon changing the tire noticed that the rip was about 4 inches long but the interesting part was the sidewall only had ONE belt--not two like printed on the tire. Previously ran 2 sets of Michelin tires over 100,000 miles each with NO failures.

good ride and grip. they are weather checking on the sidewall by the tread though. very good when tread is new. the last 1/8 inch they are worn and i can spin the drive tire on wet easy and slide on corners. the tire is only average when it is worn down over 2/3 i would say. new though they are super

This is my second set of Michelins. The first set got me close to 60,000 miles, and I am hoping to get the same out of the 2nd set. These tires are smooth, quiet and offer a very comfortable ride. They are a little more expensive than other brands but they last longer so it actually saves you time and money in the long run.

I've had 3 sets of these tires and get about 85,000-90,000 miles out of them. They still have plenty of thread on them but I change them out because of the mileage on them. I would and have recommened these tires to anyone and everyone who wants a great tire for the money!

This is one of the best tires anywhere for my 2014 MDX. But, like some reviewers, mine got very noisy. I bought my daughter a set for her same year MDX, and her's never got noisy. When you read the reviews, you realize that some consider them great and others consider them second rate. Quality control?
