I have 45K miles on these tires and they are great tires. They ride quite and I feel safe with them in bad weather. They have been thru heavy rain, snow, ice and handle well. The tread wear is even and I keep tabs on the tire pressure. I know I need to replace soon and will probably get the same ones. Hoping the prices come down...

I just bought a new set of Defender LTX M/S tires for my 2018 Lincoln Navigator. They are quiet, even on typically noisy concrete. We'll see if they perform as well and exceed the tread life warranty like my multiple sets of LTX M/S2 tires did on my Ford Expedition. Tire rotations every 5,000 miles make a difference in making the tread wear more evenly.

I have owned 3 Yukons over the past 15 yrs. I have shod them with Michelin LTX's every time. These tires are great, terrific wear and great traction. They ride great and rarely need rebalancing due to vibration and I am picky on wheel vibration. I have been so impressed by the LTX that when I traded for my last new Yukon I insisted the dealer replace the OEM tires wih my 20,000 mi old LTX's or the deal was off. They did. They may cost a bit more upfront but their long term performance offers greater cost benefit.

Have had these Michelins for about 2 years and they have performed very, very well. They ride smooth and quiet. They are wearing very well and still have a lot of tread on them. The wet weather grip is excellent, a big plus for me. A lot of tires may grip well in dry weather. The tire that grips well in wet conditions is the one I need, and the Michelins come through like the true winner they are when the conditions are nasty outside. The handling is very good too. I would definitely buy another set of these. I recommended them to my son and he put a set on his vehicle. He is very pleased with them as well. A great all around tire.

these tires lasted 130,000 miles and still were not quite down to the wear bars. vehicle is a 2000 ford explorer and while i did not beat them up this suv is not babied either. even late in the tread life they performed extremely well in the rain and snow. the new LTX M/S 2's are even better starting and stopping in the rain. i do not believe that there is a better tire on the market, at least in this application.

Tires are good for what it does. Good tracing in the snow and they last a long time. A few gripes that I have is the loud road noise that comes from the tires at high speeds. In addition, two of the four tires I bought were not good since even after multiple balancing and even having my rims checked for deformities, the tires would wobble when the car was in motion. Brought it up with the place where I bought it from and they said it was all right, but my mechanic said that should not be the case and that the tires should be like the other non-problematic one.

These tires were purchased for daily commuting in our Honda Pilot. The m/s's ride and handle better than any other light truck tire on the market. The only downside to these tires is the price. As in most other cases, you get what you pay for. I am very happy with them and will purchase another set when these need to be replaced.

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. I bought this tire a couple of weeks ago and can not believe the difference this tire has made in the performance of my Silverado. It doesn’t feel like the same truck. Ride, steering, tracking in dry, wet and off road conditions is Excellent, with no noticeable noise. This is a very comfortable riding tire for a truck. Highly recommend these tires. I have always loved and purchased Michelin tires for my truck. The LTX M/S is an excellent all weather tire that I have been able to achieve up to 70 thousand miles on. So, when I needed a set of tires I didn't even consider any other brand. I purchased a new set and had them put on. Simple as that. I don't put a lot of miles on my pick up so even though they are 4 years old, they have almost original tread. However, they are cracked and rotting on the side walls. When I brought this to the attention of the dealer, he said that Michelin's are notorious for their environmental cracks. They are in terrible shape and according to the dealer, I'm stuck with them.
