(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was very excited to try the Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage container. It was fairly easy to locate in the store. It is the perfect size to fit my lunch and is nice and flat on top which makes it easy to stack on other containers in the fridge. I was quite impressed that it did not leak, even when it contains liquids such as soup broth. I love that the black clips snap up in place with the vent holes visible. It is great to be able to keep the lid on in this way when microwaving, so that there are no messes. It washes well in the dishwasher. I will be recommending this product to family and friends.

It’s spot on for any type of meal prep and I do like that it’s a little bit lighter in weight. So I guess it depends on if you would be taking this container to work with you and you’re tossing it into your work bag and you need it to be lighter than the plastic option is perfect. I am trying to move away from using so much plastic so I do prefer the glass container over the plastic one. But I also have the flexibility to come home for lunch where my glass containers are stored in my fridge with ease.

The plastic container is light but very sturdy and the lid snaps closed so you know there won’t be any leaks. It is easy to clean and great for storing many different things! I definitely recommend this product!!!

I am so sad to write this review; I absolutely loved these containers when first received and acted pretty much like a sales person showing everyone how they were ACTUALLY leak proof! Well that is no longer the case and while it appears the top is securely sealed it's not and allows for a steady leak when traveling with.

I always like to try to make my lunches ahead of time if possible, but salads are a tricky one. You can't add the toppings or the dressing ahead of time or the whole thing will get soggy- but I hate using multiple containers or baggies to bring all the ingredients for later. This solves both problems by allowing you to compartmentalize everything until you're ready to mix it, and it's a total game changer! It's also really sturdy and beautiful to look at, too!
