(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I always had trouble microwaving frozen kidney beans coz it always splattered using my other containers. I am very impressed with the splatter-resistant microwaving feature of the Rubbermaid Brilliance containers - it works even though without the steam valve. I also like that it's odour resistant - leaving no odour even I stored butter chicken in it overnight.

Nice looking, good stack ability, snap lids work great-however-spend extra on the glass version. The plastic brilliance containers develop cracks, and the ‘no leaks’ claim goes out the window at that point. Even though I hand wash all dishes, these did not last long enough to recommend to anyone. I did call warranty service, nice conversation, but learned these pieces are now only warranted for 120 days. Not worth it.

I'm super excited to add these to my pantry. I'm going to need more....so many more! These are perfect for all your pantry staples. There's a size for everything you need. You will likely not have one left over!

My first use of this product was not good. I warmed food in the 4.7 cup container in the microwave and placed plastic wrap over the top, bad idea. The plastic wrap melted and stuck to the outside and I was unable to remove it, so it went in the garbage. I bake with plastic wrap over some things, so you can imagine my surprise to have it glue/melt to the container in the microwave.

It is microwave safe with it's special flaps on the top, allowing you to microwave your food directly in the container, without anything splattering. The special suction on the top allows food to stay fresh because of the seal. It is dishwasher safe and doesn't stain. My only qualm is that it's not glass :)

The lid on this container creates a very tight seal for freshness which. easily opens and closes This stores a full 5 lb bag of flour/sugar with space for more. These fit perfectly in my cabinets but, have a profile that gives more cabinet space without compromising storage. Love the matching measuring tool with 1/4 and 1/2 cup markers and I am sure I will appreciate not having to take out measuring cups when I bake. Great product!

I used to just place the cereal bags in the pantry and a couple of days later it was stale. These storage containers lock tight and keep my food fresh longer.

I like the tight sealing lid with snaps to ensure no leaks or lid pop offs. In addition to storing food, it is great for steaming veggies as it has ventilation holes in the lid if you leave the snaps unfastened. Overall, this is a great product and I can't wait to buy in other sizes!

After using them for a while I have purchased these containers in all different sizes. I am very much impressed with the plastic quality of these containers. I avoid washing them in the dish washers and prefer washing it with hand. I highly recommend these sets to everyone as I know they will also love it as much as I do!!

I bought a set of brilliance and then an additional 9.6 cup container separately. I used this container in the microwave for 3-4 minutes without the lid and cover- just with a paper towel. When it was done, I had 2 brown areas that looked like the plastic was melting. What a waste!!!!
