There is not as much differentiating these from other plastic containers, but the glass ones in this set are so nice that there is benefit to having ones with compatible lids

They are perfect for anyone to use; with their see through container, built in vents and leak proof design, you can't go wrong! Plus they are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe ..these are just a few added perks! So no matter what weird experiments your family members have gotten themselves into Rubbermaid brilliance will protect it and everything around it! (see pic of my teens experiment)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was very excited to try the Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage container. It was fairly easy to locate in the store. It is the perfect size to fit my lunch and is nice and flat on top which makes it easy to stack on other containers in the fridge. I was quite impressed that it did not leak, even when it contains liquids such as soup broth. I love that the black clips snap up in place with the vent holes visible. It is great to be able to keep the lid on in this way when microwaving, so that there are no messes. It washes well in the dishwasher. I will be recommending this product to family and friends.

This is a 36 piece set featuring many different sizes. The air tight seal makes your food stay fresh longer. They are very well made containers. They are plastic and very sturdy. These containers are not like those cheap ones that barely suction. These containers have a strong suction. I have a garden and I like to cut up my vegetables and separate them in containers. As you know fresh vegetables will turn faster than the ones you get from the grocery store. I went ahead and cut them up and put them in the containers. Some containers I put in the refrigerator, and the others I put straight in the freezer. They work great, and are very convenient! I plan on getting a few more sets after trying these. I will use them all of the time!

The container itself is made of an extremely sturdy plastic, so right away I felt like this was going to be a high quality product that wouldn't warp or crack overtime. I really love the versatility of this container. Not only does it keep liquids from spilling, it also cooks them in the microwave with the lid on thanks to the amazing little vents! No more microwave splatter clean up for this girl! But it keeps getting better! I can go from freezer to fridge to microwave to dishwasher without worry! I also love that no matter what kind of food I use the container for, not once has it stained! Amazing! The price is a little bit higher than I would normally spend on food storage containers, but it is worth every cent. You can immediately tell by the overall quality that this container is going to survive the test of time and will still be holding up and looking great for years to come! Everyone will love using this product for themselves and I highly recommend it!

I bought a set of brilliance and then an additional 9.6 cup container separately. I used this container in the microwave for 3-4 minutes without the lid and cover- just with a paper towel. When it was done, I had 2 brown areas that looked like the plastic was melting. What a waste!!!!

These containers are high quality and durable. Perfectly sized and keeps contents fresh. They looked wonderful in my pantry and helped me to better organize it by eliminating bulky, unattractive boxes. I love the fact that they are clear so I can see how much I have left and when I need to replenish. Easy to open and close. They are leakproof and airtight. The seals on them are great.I tested one container with a paper towel and submerged it under water for 48 hours and the paper towel was still dry upon inspection. We will definitely be using that one as a dry box at the beach or on the water. I love these containers and would definitely recommend!

Other products may say they are leak proof but this one actually is. It's crystal clear, splatter resistant in the microwave due to the built in vents on the latches. It is stain resistant. No more stained containers! I've used this product for soups and stews and it did not leak or stain. I will definitely be buying more of these containers!

I could heat it up with the cover on using the vents so it did not make a mess. Usually when you put something like chili or spaghetti in a plastic container it gets stained but this one did not! I could not believe it! I will be replacing all my current containers with Rubbermaid brilliance!
