I love to see my soups and food are sealed tight in this crystal clear container without spilling worries! I can also very conveniently microwave food without removing the lid because of this container featuring a splatter-free lid design, built-in vents allow steam to escape, save to use to reheat my food and soups. It is also perfect size storage inside my fridge and can be stacked! Highly recommend this container to all!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have a long commute (bus, subway, and bus again) and I always bring my lunch to work. So my lunch container gets thrown in my bag and off I go. My lunch consists of leftovers, so often I am carrying soups and stews. There have been so many occasions when I've arrived at work only to discover that my container has leaked and half my lunch is gone and my bag ruined. So that was my ultimate test for my review of Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE. For one week I used it to bring lunch to work and I was happy to have ZERO spills! Another feature I loved was the vents that open for microwaving. No more messes microwave messes. Also, I used the container to heat up tomato soup and chili. Usually tomato based foods stain containers in the microwave, but Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE looks just as new as when I first picked it up from the store.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Really, really impressed with these. The container material is very thick and good quality and not cheap looking at all. Most importantly, they are 100% leak-proof. I tested this with water and several other materials and holding it directly upside down. Obviously, it's important to make sure you've pressed it closed and put the clasps on properly, but for me it worked perfectly. The stain resistance is good too. We tried it with a particularly stinky pasta sauce and there was no residual smell or orange stain. It might stain over time, but every other tub I have stains with sauce on the first use, so I'm very happy. They heat up evenly, are easy to clean and I really like being able to leave the lid on top (open latches) to prevent food splashing in the microwave. I'd definitely buy these again.

I always have leftovers so am the proud owner of a lot of storage containers. This new one looked really nice and felt good in my hands. I popped some leftover beans with sauce in there and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was totally leak proof when I tipped it upside down! In the past, I have found that in order to get an amazingly tight seal on a food storage container, that container usually has to be glass. I was so surprised when I got the chance to try these Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers, and found that- although plastic- they sealed every bit as well! I love that these containers come with a leak-proof guarantee, so I know that there won't be leaks or spills! My husband is loving that they are easy to put his lunch in for work, and even if his lunch gets turned upside down, that lid is staying on, and it's sealed tight! He's also loving that they are so much more lightweight than our old glass ones! He has to walk quite a ways with his lunch each day, and these are so lightweight that he doesn't even notice the extra weight at all. Can't wait to buy more sizes of these Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers!

I've used it in the microwave and the vents are super handy plus I heated up my lasagna and it didn't leave stains like some containers . My second time using it was for fruit salad and no leaks!! I have have the medium sized Rubbermaid Brilliance container but it does come smaller and larger. I would definitely reccomend this product .
