This is a great size for leftovers to take to work for lunch the next day. While they are pricier than standard containers, I would pay it! And did. I purchased the smaller 2-pack 1.3 ounce size for any additional sides that I would have leftovers for too. Highly recommend!

When I used it in the microwave it heated my food perfectly and the cover was on I just lifted the sides for the vent holes. Best yet they can handle the dishwasher and they look so nice.

I noticed when I opened the plastic one, debris gets stuck on there easily. The container is otherwise study though!

I agree with the current AI-generated review. These have so far been the BEST containers I've ever found, and that's why I'm here buying more. Their stackability is outstanding and the empty ones are very convenient to organize. But, the 100% leak-proof claim is just false: don't ever put soup in one and throw it in your backpack. And the lids do mysteriously crack, not sure what the reason: dishwasher, freezer? I've found staining to be close to none. Conclusions: (1) Surrender to some wear, tear, and replacement. (2) The leak-proof is just mid. (3) Expect them overpriced but above average. (4) If you're ok with all that, the plastic Brilliance collection is very easy to like, maybe even love. Food containers are the armpit of every kitchen: everyone has them and they're not the most pleasant feature. But at some point, it's nice to have ones you never regret. I'd pay a premium for that! I thought these would be them, but while the price is premium, the product is not quite.

These Rubbermaid containers are awesome. The lids really go on tight, squeezing all the air out. I made fresh guacamole and it stayed green in this container for 24 hours! And I LOVE the air vents so you can leave the lid on while microwaving. I’m a huge leftover eater, and hate transferring the leftovers to a different plate to heat (more dirty dishes). With these, everything can stay in one place creating less work. Most importantly, these lids do not warp in the microwave as lids sometimes do—these stay sturdy. The small containers are also perfect for a half sandwich, which takes up less space in my kids’ lunchboxes. The lid is easy for their little hands to take on and off. And speaking of space, if you have a small kitchen with little storage, the nesting feature is great. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

In exchange for my honest review, I was provided this product for free. I have already used all of these pieces so many times, from bringing a dish to a potluck in the bigger piece, to keeping leftovers in my fridge in the smaller two pieces. The lids are air tight and easy to snap on, and the containers themselves are heavy duty. They feel almost like glass, but have the durability of plastic. They clean easily in the dishwasher or sink. The only (very minor) downfall is that because of the clips on the lids, they don't stack easily in a cabinet. But, overall they're great quality and I can't wait to buy more!!

I've made a salad that has a fairly wet dressing in it, and stored it in my fridge upside down, to test the seal on it. No leakage whatsoever! It's a very attractive looking container as well, very easy to take a photo of a yummy meal inside of it! I love how it feels like the food is really safe in the container. No worrying about leaks!

I was lucky enough to get to try out the Rubbermaid Brilliance medium-sized container (3.2 cups), for free. I am actually quite impressed by the design of this container. The Tritan plastic the container is made of gives the container a good, sturdy design, which is good because it doesn't soften when it contains hot food. I very much think that it is going to be a durable container after many uses and would resist breaking if accidentally dropped. The feature that I find most impressive for this container is its leak-proof design. The rubber seal between the lid and the container is really snug, and I could tell that the lid created a good seal even before testing it because you can hear and feel the air being forced out of the container when you put the lid on. The latches clip down nice and tight; locking your food safely inside. Once seal, this container really DOESN'T leak. I literally tried filling it with water and proceeded to tip the container upside-down and shake it about to test it, and it didn't leak a single drop! Thus far I have used my container for lunches for work - so sandwiches, salads and leftovers that I reheat in the microwave. It definitely keeps my lunchables fresh, and does a fine job of reheating my food. The vents located under the latches of the container are quite convenient. Just one note - make sure to remember not to grab your container by the latches once reheating to avoid burning yourself, as that's where the steam comes out of the container. I definitely recommend this product to anyone as I believe it would be very well suited for most people and everyday life/use. Note that I make one possible exception to this. It might not be as well suited for those suffering from arthritis as the seal of the container has a lot of suction behind it and might be difficult to open. My mother has arthritis, and she would indeed have difficulty getting the lid off.

I love these storage containers! They don't get hot when I microwave them. The lids make these almost air tight. It's a good variety of sizes and we use them for everything. Very happy with this purchase. I researched glass storage containers for a few weeks before I got these. Have held up nicely for almost a year now. Nothing has cracked and we wash in the dishwasher all the time .
