I decided to replace all of my containers with these gorgeous (although pricey) containers. I mainly use them to store cold items in the refrigerator, but we do occasionally use them in the microwave. However, recently I noticed cracks in several of them! I take extremely good care of them. They are hand washed (never been in the dishwasher) and they have never been in the freezer. I bought them mainly for their appearance and the seal. Will not purchase again.

It is very sturdy, has an amazing air tight seal that nothing leaked out of (even when tossed, turned upside down and shaken) and is stain resistant. The durability of these products is amazing, there stay looking new without scratches and food stains like some other plastic food storage containers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry Starter Set. They have lots of neat features. But my most favorite is the air tight sealing lids. They seal great just by pushing it down but then it also has locking side which gives it an extra seal. They are stackable and fit well in a pantry. I put the basic pantry items in them like pasta, rice, sugar and grains. They are all clear, so you can easily find what you need in the pantry. They are dishwasher safe and stain resistant. I love all the different sizes. You have tall, wide, short and small. There were only two different size lids the fit all seven pieces. That way there is no hunting around to find a certain lid for each piece. I hope to get more pieces to add to my collection.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Really, really impressed with these. The container material is very thick and good quality and not cheap looking at all. Most importantly, they are 100% leak-proof. I tested this with water and several other materials and holding it directly upside down. Obviously, it's important to make sure you've pressed it closed and put the clasps on properly, but for me it worked perfectly. The stain resistance is good too. We tried it with a particularly stinky pasta sauce and there was no residual smell or orange stain. It might stain over time, but every other tub I have stains with sauce on the first use, so I'm very happy. They heat up evenly, are easy to clean and I really like being able to leave the lid on top (open latches) to prevent food splashing in the microwave. I'd definitely buy these again.

This product is great for taking things that are a bit liquidy to work, it even prevents soup from leaking! This product comes in a few different sizes and I think I'll need one of each size!

On this front, it certainly delivers. I travelled to work with this container in my backpack, full of soup, and experienced no leakage at all. As someone who makes lunches for the full week at once, I really appreciated the stackability of this container, allowing me to keep the fridge clean and organized. Also, the built-in vents allowed me to microwave my lunch without moving the lid -- providing convenience and preventing messy splatter in the microwave. I found the container very easy to clean, even after leaving it coated in food residue for an entire work day. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who brings a lunch to work.
