The cereal stays fresh and crunchy, no more stale cereal. The lid to pour has a silicon touch and both ends snap in place. It's completely leakproof we're loving it! Compared to other brands it definitely has an edge to it. I would recommend to friends and we've used it for soup and chili already and tipping it shows no leaks at all! Great product and well designed!

Anyone who knows me, knows I love to cook. I take pride in my kitchen and the gadgets and tools I use. That being said, I have used many different brands, shapes and styles of food storage containers. No matter how many times I stray, I always come right back to Rubbermaid. When I happened upon this set, I was more than excited to try them. They arrived in brand packaging that just screamed quality. The packaging is pretty and surely makes a great presentation for gift giving. I love these containers!! This six piece set features three BPA-free CRYSTAL CLEAR containers and three BPA-free Tritan lids. These Rubbermaid Brilliance containers offer EXCELLENT VISIBILITY of their contents. This is a useful feature as I can look in my fridge and know exactly what I am taking out without having to open several containers. I chopped too much onion and decided to store the leftover in one of the smaller containers. I was super IMPRESSED that there was no onion odor in my refrigerator and even more impressed that there was no odor in the container once I washed it. Some containers I have used in the past held on to odors and I had to toss them. A pet peeve of mine...stained containers!! I hate stained containers. I just find it unsightly as they never look clean; so imagine how THRILLED I am that these containers RESIST not only odors but stains as well!! Another pet peeve of mine is containers that leak. I use containers with covers to keep the contents in and I rely on my containers to do that. These Rubbermaid food storage containers are 100% Leak-proof and guess what...THEY WORK! I'm really SATISFIED with these containers. I'm a neat freak and like my kitchen organized. I love how these containers stack allowing me to save space and keep things tidy! As if these containers couldn't get any better...these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. The lids have air vents under the latches for when you are microwaving. These vents keep your food from exploding and splattering everywhere! All in all, I find these containers PERFECT for me and and my needs, they are durable, crystal clear, air tight and BPA-free! If you are still wondering if I would recommend these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, not only do I HIGHLY recommend them but I plan to buy a set for my best friend! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really like this container. It's a good size to take a soup, stew or store a sauce in. I used it to bring my soup to work for lunch. I use to always wrap my container with plastic because it would leaks. Because this has a rubber seal and lock it does prevent it from leaking all over the place. I microwaved it as well.

These look great, don't hold stains or odors, and generally appear to be high-quality. But the plastic actually cracks very easily. The smaller containers seem to have shorter shelf lives than the larger containers. First, the lids form large singular cracks that let air in. Several weeks or months later, the bodies form cracks that gradually wear down and become openings for fluids to leak out. These are such trash containers, and I hate that I bought enough for a week's worth of meal prep. I've already had to throw out four because they're completely unusable, while the remaining ones are gradually becoming useless.

So far we are very happy with this product. We have only had it for a few weeks but already want more. Rubbermaid, are there any other colors available (for the portions of the top that are not clear)? We like to use different colors to differentiate between types of food. TIA.

I'm super excited to add these to my pantry. I'm going to need more....so many more! These are perfect for all your pantry staples. There's a size for everything you need. You will likely not have one left over!

The 3.2 cup Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are my favorite size. Its the perfect size for storing cheese or leftovers in the fridge, or chocolate chips or baking soda in the pantry. I've purchased a ridiculous number of this size container, but somehow, I never have enough. I use them all the time as they are fantastic for keeping things fresh. And they stack really well, too.

My husband packs a lunch to work every day and because of the compartments and the great seal, his lunch makes it to work in good condition and their are no leaks in his cooler. I wish I had gotten him some of these a long time ago. The fact that these don't stain is a major plus as well, because it's gross to use containers that have stains. They never look clean.
