All of Rubbermaid's sets are stackable which is great, but what sets this set apart is the lids. The lids aren't the typical lids that inevitably crack. These lids are not only air tight but they allow for a vent option when you pop up the handles. This means when you are microwaving spaghetti leftovers your microwave doesn't need to be wiped down too. The 14 piece set is a true 14 piece set with 14 containers and 14 lids, not 7 of each. I'm so thankful to Rubbermaid for accurately listing the container count and not playing silly marketing games! The containers come in a variety of sizes great for either pantry storage or leftovers. With such a wide assortment of container sizes, it's great that all the lids are in only 2 sizes. No more hunting for a specific lid size! Lastly the containers and lids are a strong durable plastic, but keeps that glass-like easy see through look. They are dishwasher safe and they don't hold on to stains as far as I can tell. Even stubborn tomato sauce stains come clean in the dishwasher. This set should become a staple for all households and will be my new go-to house warming gift.

Now that I’ve had time to use this product I will let you know how impressed I am by this new Rubbermaid Brilliance collection. I’ve probably washed this plastic Rubbermaid about 20 times already because my boyfriend loves to use it as a dish for all of his meals. However, he (& I) love how this container keeps all the food fresh and really seals it in. It is also super convenient to use in the microwave and easy to clean. For the price, I give it 5 stars because you can’t beat the durability and quality of this product.

These Rubbermaid containers are awesome. The lids really go on tight, squeezing all the air out. I made fresh guacamole and it stayed green in this container for 24 hours! And I LOVE the air vents so you can leave the lid on while microwaving. I’m a huge leftover eater, and hate transferring the leftovers to a different plate to heat (more dirty dishes). With these, everything can stay in one place creating less work. Most importantly, these lids do not warp in the microwave as lids sometimes do—these stay sturdy. The small containers are also perfect for a half sandwich, which takes up less space in my kids’ lunchboxes. The lid is easy for their little hands to take on and off. And speaking of space, if you have a small kitchen with little storage, the nesting feature is great. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) You know, I am one of the biggest skeptics out there, and the fact that the plastic was hard made me really unsure that it would be leak proof. But it worked great and I was really impressed. I put in water with a drop of food colouring to see it and nothing came out when I tipped it over the sink! Super happy about that!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally purchase plastic containers since my kids like to take them and play this is amazing to have since it's stain resistant and 80% of my tubber ware has red stains from spaghetti or tamales so far overnight oats have been a huge success in these containers! I love how the seal so tightly and I know if I drop it it'll be okay

They are truly 100% leak-proof, the seal and side closures work great! They can be used for any leftover food storage (even soups) or even for lunch in a lunchbox. They make for a mess free, easy clean up! Love that they are clear, so you can see exactly what is in it without even having to open it up. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

I like the container other than they do leak. I have had the contains leak water out all over my lunch sack. The only way it does not leak if is the container stays upright the whole time. But than all containers are leakproof then. Not worth the money for lunch containers.

I received these containers for free in exchange for my honest review. I have the 6-piece Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Container Set. Rubbermaid claims these containers are 100% leak-proof guaranteed. So the first thing I did when I received my set was put water in one of the containers, put the lid on it and set the container on its side so that the water was pressing against the side of the lid. I left the container like that for several hours; no leaks. I then turned the container on to its other side and left it like that overnight. No leaks. Finally I turned the container upside down and left it like that for several ours. No leaks! The suction on the lid is incredible. I was quite impressed because I've always heard that if there is a way out, water will find it. There is no way out of a Rubbermaid Brilliance container. Next, my son took hummus to school in his lunch box. Earlier that week, the lid on a container with hummus in it had come off and there was hummus all over his lunch box once he got home. I was reticent to let him take hummus again but now that we had these Brilliance containers, I felt better about letting him take it after that incident. And yes, there were NO leaks, plus the container cleaned up quite easily. Hummus can be difficult to get off of plastic containers because it's so oily but the Brilliance containers came clean with hot water and a little bit of dish soap. I like using them use in the refrigerator because not only do they look nice (I just got a new fridge so I'm all about everything looking pretty), they are clear and there's no guessing about what is in them after a few days. So handy for leftovers!

The easy clasp that lock the lid move easily and it has a built in rubber rim for added leak proofing. The lid has also been designed well that you can stack more then one. Plastic seems strong and durable and I have not noticed any scraps from use or washing.
