I put leftover spaghetti in the container and heated it up in the microwave. I loved the the vent because it saved me from splattering my work microwave. When I took it home and washed it, there were no spaghetti stains left behind like other containers. I will definitely be buying more of these containers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I got these sooner! The Rubbermaid Brilliance Meal Prep Containers are excellent for meal prepping! The containers have a shallow divider which allows food to be separated within the same container. What I like most about these containers is how well they seal - the lid has a rubber/plastic gasket and two plastic clips that allow the lid to lock down in place thus preventing nasty leaks and spills while keeping food fresh longer. Now I need to find the larger size version of these to add to my collection.

I've made a salad that has a fairly wet dressing in it, and stored it in my fridge upside down, to test the seal on it. No leakage whatsoever! It's a very attractive looking container as well, very easy to take a photo of a yummy meal inside of it! I love how it feels like the food is really safe in the container. No worrying about leaks!

It’s made from a nice, sturdy, clear plastic that feels like it will hold up for a long time. It’s stain resistant, and seems to clean quite easily, and it can be washed in the dishwasher. The lid seals well. Recently I made some baked goods in an 8x8 pan, and after cut into squares, this dish was the perfect size to store them in the fridge (minus the 2 or 3 squares that I ate right out of the pan. :) )

I have plastic containers, glass containers and even a tin container, so I've tried them all. I love this one the best! The packaging boasted a 100% leak-proof guarantee to avoid spills and leaks and made with BPA free material. I take stews and food with sauces to work, and I've experienced spills in the past, so I was willing to give this a try. It worked amazingly well. I could literally hold the container upside down and not a drop seeped out! A feature that I hadn't seen in any other product is the way in which you can flip the lid latches up when microwaving. This way, you don't have to even open the lid… just take the container out of the fridge, lift the latches and insert in the microwave oven. I didn't have to deal with any splatter nor did I have to cover it with a paper towel. It's also very easy to see all the contents – the container and the lid are crystal clear, all around. That, plus how easy it is to stack several items, makes picking out the right container in the morning very easy. At the store where I got it, they had them stacked on display. I tried shifting them around and liked how stable they were on top of each other – no wiggle room whatsoever. That'll come in handy when I get more containers. No more containers slipping left and right in the fridge. I would recommend this for anyone who takes food to work. Easy to spot which container you want on your way out in the morning, easy to transport, easy to microwave your lunch and when you get home… just pop it in the dishwasher. Very convenient!

Right now I have a hodgepodge of different containers which don’t match & some of them don’t keep my foods fresh for very long. I got the Brilliance Pantry Starter Set by Rubbermaid & so far I’m in love with them! They are stackable which is a big help in a smaller kitchen & the stored food items are visible so I always know how much I have on hand. The lids are interchangeable so there is no more hunting & searching for the lid that fits. The containers are light but seem very sturdy. They are easy to use & look great in my pantry. The lids are airtight so I don’t worry about anything going stale before I use it. They are very easy to care for, BPA free & Made in the USA. Now I just need to get more for things like my baking supplies, cereal & more snacks for the grandkids!

This by far has been the best food storage set that I have ever used. Upon taking it out of the box the first thing I noticed was the clarity of each container & I realized just how strong/sturdy they are. The variety of size options I was able to use the containers from everything to sauces, salads, my lunches to leftovers from dinner & nothing leaked, not even when I left it upside down. These containers are microwaveable, you just lift the flap for ventilation. They are also freezer safe which is one of my favorite features. Rubbermaid Brilliance 36-Piece Food Storage Container Set was extremely easy for me to clean, no stains were left on the containers after I used them & they are dishwasher safe. I also love the fact they dont take up much room due to being stackable. My family loves this set & I highly recommend it.
