Great Picture - Setup needs work and help

This is a great TV once you get it all set up. The default settings for almost everything regarding the TV are set to very basic low quality picture and audio. You need to take the time to set all the picture and sound settings. It would be great if LG had the setting defaulted to picture and sound settings that more closely match the level of TV.

Love, Love, Love the TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with my purchase. However in order to use the AI features, I have to allow Google to infringe on my personal privacy which I declined to do. Therefore I will not be able to use AI on this TV. Sad that LG is asking all their customers who buy this TV to give up their privacy to Google. However I love the TV picture and other options.

Once you try LG OLED you never go back !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is unlike any other. If your watching a aHDR or Dolby Vision movie the lg tv automatically changes the picture to match what your watching. So many more features to discuss, I can't write it all down. As a techie geek, I highly recommend this television. I needed another TV being I moved to a bigger apartment and I just got the CX series. L G is the technology on the market right now!

Black is actually a color- but not here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors are extremely over saturated, delivering bright but off-puttingly surreal hues. Maybe for gaming you want this? For films, I want it to look like the film maker intended, not every black speck to go utterly black like a death hole. I hate this television. We can't take it back so I'm stuck with it's idiotic super bright colors and super dark can't see anything everything else. Seriously, LG? Ugh.

65" OLED C* replaced my 65" Mitsubishi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new LG OLED 65" replaced a Mitsubishi rear projection set that was 15 years old - and what a difference! Never had such a great looking TV and it only takes up inches in depth vs. feet with previous TV

The best value high class OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of testing and debating what model would be my first OLED I ultimately opted to for the LG C8P! And boy was it the right decision. The C8P blows me away on a daily basis and is far and away the best TV I've ever purchased

Great for most everything but Video Games

I actually bought another unit to play games on since I had heard so many horror stories of burn in with this TV. Really shouldn't be an issue with something this expensive but it is what it is. Other than that it truly is an amazing system, but the issue with burn in costs it a 4 star and not a 5 star rating.

Fabulous Improvement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tv! The colors and definition are a great improvement over my old 1080p or was it 1080i. It does not matter. The LG Oled65cx is far superior. I am stuck home because of Covid and watching a good movie with great visuals helps my sense of well-being. I also like the smart tv capability. Remote is easy to use. I have a surround sound audio system so I cannot comment on tv's sound quality.

Great OLED but Sound Sync Issues NEED Fixing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also own the LG Sk10Y soundbar. I currently have my 4K cable box and a Chromecast Ultra connected directly to the TV. The TV is then connected via HDMI ARC to the soundbar. Unfortunately, this set-up causes an un-fixable audio lip sync problem where the video is slightly ahead of the audio. And yes, I've tried adjusting the audio sync via the TV's and the soundbar's settings, but these settings only allow you to delay the audio more. . . of course I want to REMOVE the delay. I've spent countless hours researching this problem, and I'm DEFINITELY not the only person experiencing it. It sounds like I have to have everything connected directly to the soundbar FIRST then go from the soundbar to the TV. . . just so the audio signal can hit the soundbar FIRST (to avoid the audio lag present when it has to go through the TV). Of course, I don't want to sacrifice any and all of the advanced sound features of my TV (e.g. Dolby ATMOS). My research has shown that an "eARC" firmware update to both the TV and the soundbar would likely correct this lip sync problem. So, LG can you please make this happen?

Great picture, ok UI, terrible Google intergration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the exception that I had to open multiple confusing LG accounts (with undocumented limitations on password length) in order to setup the TV, and the terrible Google Home integration (I am still looking for the list of commands that might be possible), the picture quality is superb, and the overall design is excellent.
