EasyPeasy! Came packaged well. Mostly already put together, just put the stand together and added the handle and side foldout shelves and we were ready to cook. Ours came with the electric fire starter. We bought the Good Charcoal Company brand of Acacia wood lump charcoal from Sam's. We had to open the air vents more to get the grill up to higher grilling temp but then all worked great. Added a little more charcoal with each new use up to the air holes. Impressed, thought we'd be buying a lot of charcoal but that's not the case. Even tossed in some foil wrapped potatoes as it cooled down and had them with breakfast next day. Great food from hamburgers to pork tenderloin. Haven't smoked anything yet but we are already in love with it!

I had been using gas for twenty plus years, and was skeptical until I used it twice. It's very easy to use and made some of the best burgers I had in years. Electric starter couldn't be any easier to use and within 15 mins burgers are cooking. Total cook time was 30 mins.

Easy assembly and portable since it's the 15” model. Fired it up and grilled a steak right off. Excellent outcome. I can easily move this little thing around too. The seals are great for smoking. It doesn't take much charcoal at a time either. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Great product , I initially thought the grill might be small but in actuality the size was perfect.

The grill is perfect. The design is great for smoking meats, which is what I want to do.

Grill is grate. Quality of parts are poor. Spent two hours adjusting shelf brackets to fit and one still basically doesn't work.

If your new to kamado cooking this is your grill. This thing is awesome for the money. My fire box was busted on top (but still worked) the company sent a new one within 2 weeks. The grill size is small at 12 inches,but still large enough for 8 chicken thighs. Larger kamado grills sell for $800 to $1800 Home depot had this exact grill for $600 Thank you for a great purchaes experience.

I'm a firm believer in the ceramic style grills now. I smoked a 10lb turkey for Thanksgiving and the charcoal lasted right at 4 hours without adding more which was perfect. It's not exactly made to add charcoal though but 4 hours at 225 to 250 was enough to get a good smoked taste and get the turkey to 165. The grill came in packaged well with no hardware missing. My sister purchased the same grill but had a few of the nuts missing on the shelves. Putting the shelves on was a pain though. It wouldn't hurt if the manufacturer moved the screw studs in. We left the nuts on the studs and whacked them with a hammer a few times. Be super careful not to hit the grill though. I took off a star for that and also the fact that it has been difficult finding any type of deflector to fit the 8" slot in the metal grill. Throw away aluminum pie pans burn through. Other than a couple of little bumps, I think this is a very good grill and definitely would recommend it at the $265 I paid. My sister paid $225 two days after I purchased mine. :(

Half of the parts were missing to put it together, had to go to hardware store and buy a lot of the stuff to put it together! Took us 3 hours to put it together. After it was done it turned out great, just very poor packing.

We were so excited about this deal. Its unbeatable! The few problem we noticed after first use was the handle gets so hot while in use and since its bamboo it started splitting at the joints. The opening is not as wide so that adds to the handle issue. Its right over the flame when the hood opens up during grilling. The wheels screw was too short and did not thread properly with the screw cap. There is no ash removing tray. If these things can be fixed, it will most definitely be everyones go to grill.
