Not a good impression for this 1st time Michelin buyer.

I live in Northern WI and the winters here can present a challenge. I replaced the half worn OE Nexens on my 2015 Kia Soul (28k mi on vehicle) as the Premier A/S came very highly rated in every forum I researched. I couldn't be more disappointed in their performance. I've had them on for two weeks and 600mi and these are my findings: I have a vibration that causes my hand to fall asleep at 56mph: I have lost nearly 3mpg: The tires seem to wander on various paved surfaces and need constant correction to maintain a strait line of travel: They are NO quieter than the half worn Nexens that were on my vehicle. Had balanced 3 times already...

Not worth it. Does it get more than 30000 miles before

These are the second time I purchased these tires for my wife's Toyota Solara. The first time she barely had 40000 miles. This second set has just less than 30000 miles and need replacement. Alway been a Michelin tire for all vehicles. I will be looking for another brand.

Mart42, we're sorry that you are disappointed in the mileage received with the Premier A/S. Remember, there is a mileage warranty on this tire. The warranty indicates you should get credit based on the mileage you received. A member of our team will be in touch to work with you and your retailer on initiating a mileage claim.

not a happy driver

Driven 30,000 miles and I am miserable. At first, not so bad. But after a few thousand miles I started to get frustrated. I have felt every bump and expansion joint for the last 30,000 miles. Wear is OK, but what difference does that make when you are jolted at every road imperfection. may be able to squeeze another 10k, but these tires are making me hate my car. The Primacy mxv4 that were replaced were a better tire/smoother ride. The wet traction is still fairly good for running 30,000 miles. At least they got that right. Have a set of Michelins on our Explorer and they are great. Just feel these are a poor design.

Having Second Thoughts

I have a 2012 Camry LE. The OEM tires were the Energy Savers, which were smooth and quiet. They were down to 4/32 at 43K miles. So, it being winter here in New England, I researched and replace them with the Premiers. Now, I'm second guessing my choice. The Premiers seem noisier and feel like they don't absorb bumps quite as well. Maybe new Energy Savers were in order, but I read the Premiers were a better tire for grip in foul weather. Slightly disappointed.

These are by far the best tires I have ever owned !

I"m not an employee!! These are phenomenal tires! They ride beautifully, grep tenaciously, handle to my limit of bravery, and are so predictable. I'm a very agressive driver in my BMW (but safe), but I've met my match with these tires. I can't believe how well they do on ice! Of course there's a down side..... I think they're wearing very quickly. A year or so into purchase and I've been told they are 50% done. That's ok. With the confidence I have in these, I'll buy again immediately.

Great Tire

All I ever buy are Michelin tires. I'm replacing my current set of Premier A/S with a new set now. I got 83,000 miles out of the first set on my 2005 Honda Accord I use for commuting to work. I go through tires about every 2 years because I drive a lot, My Honda currently has 430,000 original miles on the original engine/transmission. The tires are very nice to drive with. The tires are quiet, they handle well and they brake well in wet or dry conditions. I'm very satisfied with this tire and that is why I'm buying another set of 4 tires. I know tires and I can recommend this tire.

Disappointed

My parents have taught me that Michelin tires are the only ones to get, going even so far as having them switched at the dealership before purchasing. Up until now, I agreed! But my 2020 Pacifica is showing signs of wear with 19k miles. Looks like we won't be getting anywhere close to the 60k mile ‘warranty.' What a bunch tire! Do not buy! Looks like new tires for Christmas!

Already Worn Out by 2/3rd of the Rated Miles

These are the OEM tires that came on my Pacifica Hybrid when we purchased the vehicle new. The vehicle just crossed over 40k miles on the odometer and these tires are very near the end of their service life (down to the last 2/32" of tread). Other than the rather disappointingly fast wear (for tires warrantied for 60k miles), they drive well in most normal driving conditions (dry, wet, highway speeds), but are TERRIBLE in the snow. I'm not sure if it's because of the high amount of instant torque the hybrid drivetrain makes or it's just these tires, but it's very difficult to get traction from a stop. Even in wet conditions, if you try to pull away from a left/right hand turn, it'll lose traction on the inside wheel and spin the tire. I drive my other car (much lighter sedan) with BFGoodrich tires on it similarly and it rarely breaks free.

Good performing tire but wears out quickly.

Good all weather performance, smooth ride, but wear out very quickly. I'm at 2/32 after 47000 mostly highway miles on a light weight Honda fit. From reading the reviews I'm apparently one of the lucky ones to squeeze that many miles out of them, but the treadwear warranty is 60000 and Consumer Reports "estimated" 80000 miles in their review when the premier first came out. I will not be buying these again strictly due to premature wear.

Nothing premium except the price

I am most disappointed in the Premier A/S. The ride is very rough and brittle, irrespective of the various tire pressures I experimented with. Every road imperfection is transmitted granularly into the vehicle, and the tires howl on the interstate and rumble over every road surface. Fuel consumption increased about 2 mpg. They are certainly no replacement for the Primacys as far as ride quality and noise is concerned. Having had very good experiences with many different Michelin tires over the years, this is the first Michelin product I can honestly say is not worth the money. There is certainly nothing premium about them, except the price.
