I like the U-Wing ship, although there are few areas I'd modify to make it more to my liking like the cockpit and area for passengers. The minifigs in this set are pretty good. Overall, a satisifed purchase and fun set.

Little brother

It’s like the little brother of the original. It does everything the first one does, just slightly worse in every way. Other than that, it is a really good set, it’s just not the best u-wing.

Great purchase!

This was a birthday gift for my son. He enjoyed putting it together. The instructions are straight forward and the Lego is functional and nice looking. I would definitely recommend this product.

Solid build, solid figures, terrible price.

I really wanted to like this set, primarily because I really wanted the figures (which are great, aside from Dedra’s legs). Unfortunately the build is just…meh? It’s fine, but as someone who likes to play with their LEGO (Yes I’m an adult who plays), I HATE that the pilot needs to be laying down, and the fact that K-2SO can’t fit in the ship (comfortably) worsens the build. Thats not to say there aren’t positives! Love the hat mold for Dedra, Hidden spring shooters are great for play and display, Excellent swooshability, And a wonderful selection of minifigures. To be honest, I was more positive when I started the review, but the more I think about it, the more flaws I see. I still would recommend the set, but get it at a discount.

Absolute best Star Wars ship yet

This is by far the most versatile, fun, and swooshable Star Wars ship they have done yet. sure there are some larger with better detail, and more mini figs but this checks ALL the boxes.

Awesome U-Wing

This is a beautiful set and was such an enjoyable building experience and display piece that it kickstarted my play scale ship collection. As a fan of the Andor series, the included mini figures are great. But my favorite function is the opening and closing wings. A very good looking and sturdy model.

Good Tinier U-Wing, Old One Better

Overall, this set is decent for the price and what you get. I like the addition of the two ISB agents. The play feature is nice and like that the wings open and can fit (barely) troops in the lower area. It is just difficult for me to totally like this set because I bought the bigger and in my opinion, better set that came out during Rogue One. That one felt more like a transport, can fit more troops inside, the doors swung open the correct way, etc.

So much potential but misses the mark

This set is phenomenal. It looks great, has great play functions, and is super sturdy. It has some great figures too. But it's a troop transport with room for only 1 passenger and a cargo "crate" that doesn't even open. And the pilot has to lay down to fit in the cockpit. Plus the doors and front lower window aren't as accurate as they could've been, but I care much less about that. With a few minor tweaks using the same pieces even, this set could've easily seated 3+the pilot, maybe more, without impacting the overall durability of the set. As evidenced by the variety of fan made mods out there. Kids want to play with sets and carry their troops around. It's a shame to see this pattern of limited interior space among recent sets. I hope the Lego design team starts to prioritize that aspect a little higher than they currently seem to because otherwise with is an absolutely stellar model.

Overall good

Pretty good overall, I like how the wings are slimmer. Would be nice to see sliding doors and a bigger interior

Good. Not great

Andor being one of the best pieces of Star Wars media, I was excited to see what LEGO had to offer. Unfortunately, this was about it. Aside from four amazing new minifigures, the build is extremely lackluster. In universe, the U-Wing is a transport ship, which means it’s supposed to be able to hold many troopers, however this set holds around four not including the cockpit, (which a minifigure has to be lying down to enter.) Don’t get me wrong, the set itself is not terribly priced and looks quite nice. But the downscaling needs to stop, especially when comparing it to the 2016 Rebel U-Wing which is better in every conceivable way. An ok set with good minifigures.
