These lanterns are very bright. Good to have in case of a hurricane or some other catastrophe.

I bought these for emergency lighting in case the power goes out. Im going to keep them in my vehicles so they double as safety lights for the cars.

Very bright and convenient. The only thing I don't like is that you have to cycle through all the different light options before it turns off including bright flashing red lights

These seemed nice, but one wouldn’t charge properly (just got hot) so we returned. There are 3 levels of blinding light and 2 flashy red ones. Would have been nice if there was a steady red. Didn’t get a chance to recharge with the solar panel.

Bright illumination, even on low. There are three brightness levels. From a full charge, the brightest setting lasts about 2 hours 45 minutes. The mid setting lasts about 5 hours 15 minutes, and was nearly as bright as the highest setting. The low setting lasts about 8.5 hours. I’m not sure just how useful the solar charging will be. According to the instructions, it takes 12-14 hours of sunlight for a full charge. This may only be useful to top off a charge after momentary usage. Charging via USB takes about three hours. About the only minus for this lantern is that it does not have a charge indicator. The only charge indications are when the lantern shuts itself off when the battery is fully discharged, and when the charging LED changes from red to green when it reaches full charge. I will find this lantern very useful for the occasional power outages. I will also use it for illumination when grilling after dark.
