There are 2 of us living in an RV without an ice maker. I had my doubts that this would be able to keep up. I was wrong. We do use Yeti or similar cups and that keeps ice for long periods, but I am still amazed. It is loud, and we turn it off at night because it will wake you when the ice drops.

i enjoyed it but it didn’t last long. i bought this about a year and a half ago. it puts out plenty of ice and i like the features such as how much it will freeze ice cubes before dumping them. So, if you want very thin or very thick its easy to do. The problem is that the compressor is still working but water is not circulating. i think the pump is shot. I would suggest cleaning it each month if you have hard water like we do here. I'm sure the calcium deposits didn't help. The icemaker was one of my favorite appliances so ill probably get another but not this one.

So far, so good. I like the fact that it makes 18 cubes at a time. They do come out stuck together, but are easily broken up if needed. I use a big glass and just slide a couple of sheets of ice and I'm good to go. This will be running 24/7, so, I'm hopeful for a long life.

I have had other countertop ice makers and this one is far superior to any others. It is fast and the ice is nearly clear. Only drawback, which doesn't bother us, is that it drops a sheet of cubes and they need to be broken up. Not a big deal as they break easily when put in ice bucket or plastic bag. Walmart has a very fair price for this unit, and no shipping charge. Buy it!

It works well, fairly quiet. I do not lind the little bit of white noise it creates. Only downfall is that the ice does not come out in pieces. That does not bother me though, it breaks apart easily enough. We also bag it and use it in the cooler. The cubes last and do not melt fast like the bullet ice makers.

Excellent ice maker that churns out ice cubes in a 24 hour span. Fantastic for dinner parties and cookouts, easy to move so people don't crowd around the freezer. Creates more room in my freezer as well so I'm not taking up space with ice trays! *This review was written as part of a contest

I love it. However, the only instructions were in Chinese and it took a lot of searching YouTube to find a tutorial about my particular model by someone who knew what they were doing. Do your research ahead because there are so many unanswered questions online. And so many makes and models.

Bought this as a gift for Mother's Day and was very excited when it came in just in time. However, I was extremely disappointed when I opened it and discovered that the unit was not only broken but also clearly used and very dirty. The window on the door had a large crack in the plastic from one end to the other. The sides of the machine were scratched and had had large dents in several places. From what I've seen in the comment sections apparently, this is a pretty common problem.

Quiet machine. Efficient with power. Nice ice cubes. They are clear. small, hard cubes. You do have to break apart the cubes (its like coming out of an ice tray), but this isn't hard to do. The cubes will slowly melt if you leave them in too long or don't use them but the water is recycled back into ice. It stops making ice once the basket is full and wont make more till open the door and take some out. It's a nice looking machine too!

We have had our Frigidaire EFIC452 black stainless steel clear-ice maker for about a week and have been putting it through its paces. I have been impressed with how quietly it runs while it makes ice. It definitely does not bother us with the tv on in the next room. It feels like it takes some time to get the initial 24 pieces of ice to form and fall into the bucket, but it makes consistent ice, super clear; not white bullets like many ice makers. I first fill a Brita pitcher with water to filter tap water, then pour it into the water reservoir. One tankfull of water easily makes 3 or 4 loads of ice, if not more. That's 24 cubes x 3 or 4. I can't yet speak toward the longevity of the unit but I did purchase it with my amazon visa card that doubles a standard year warranty. Hopefully, I won't need to use it. I am a big fan of this machine so far.
