My husband I were both suffering with lower back pain every day before this mattress, I have heritary back problems coupled with fibromyalgia and my husband has bad hips. We were worried at first the firm was going to be too hard. Thankfully the adapting foam gives us both just the right amount of support without feeling like concrete. The only thing that still gives me pause every night is how hard it feels while getting into bed. I'm sure it's just from years of sleeping on a super soft mattress and I'm just not used to it. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and can't really see myself sleeping on anything else ever again.

Do NOT buy if you are a side sleeper. We purchased a "soft" King size. In store it was soft. New bed was delivered and its so firm, It's like sleeping on a carpeted floor without a pad underneath. The bed is only good if you are a back sleeper. I should not need to add comfort to a bed i've spent over $5k on.

This is the BEST decision we ever made, bed wise! It's SOOO wonderful, comfortable, soft, amazing, don't want to get out of in the morning's. I can't tell you enough about how this bed has helped me!!! I know they are pricey, but worth every cent! If you have any problems sleeping, go get one today!!! It will take a little bit to get use to, then.....AWWWWW........

I had lower chronic back pain. I went on a weekend getaway and slept on a TemperPedic mattress for two nights while there. On the second morning, my girlfriend and I got up that morning, looked at each other , and said 'No More Backpain' I was amazed. I knew I was going to get one as soon as I got home. I did my research and test laid on various models and settled on the TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft. My back is great! I sleep much better. I love my TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft.

This is the 2nd Tempur-Pedic mattress we have owned. We looked at all options when shopping for the 2nd mattress but we knew the comfort and quality of our first Tempur-Pedic and so the choice was really a simple one. I strongly recommend finding a store where you can try out the various models, we went from a medium firmness with the first mattress to soft on the 2nd one. The mattress conforms to your body, it supports yet cradles your body as you sleep - it's a mattress like no other. You won't regret buying a Tempur-Pedic!!

This new mattress is so comfortable, I cannot feel any pain when I'm laying on it, and my back even feels better during the day! I've always had great experiences with Tempurpedic but I will say this bed is for very specific people. I had a back injury a year and a half ago and I didn't feel the mattress I'd been using over the last year had enough support so I purchased this one. I have always loved very firm beds and assumed it would give the best support for my back. I was wrong. It was too firm and upon some research I found that this would be a good bed for someone much heavier than me with less joint problems. If you have any type of back, shoulder or hip issues this firm mattress is not for you. I loved the firmness but after just a week I woke up in pain every day. I'm switching to a medium hybrid.

We bought this mattress to help my husband sleep. Because of his Parkinson's he couldn't sleep on the mattress we had. He slept in the reclining chair. He has tried to sleep on this mattress but can't. It's like he's in a hole. He is back to the reclining chair. As for me, the mattress is too firm and my hips create a hole that I find so uncomfortable that my back, hips and shoulders ache. Unfortunately we need to look at another mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a Tempur-Pedic Cloud to the Luxe Adapt King size. We enjoyed our Cloud but this mattress is even better and conforms and hugs better. It's also not as hot as our cloud was. Definitely an excellent upgrade.
