Customer reviews for Step2 Wonderball Fun House Playset forChildren big and small can have a ball!
Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program! This product is durable yet lightweight enough to pick up and transfer from room to room or outside for different areas to set up play. With a drill, assembly would be very easy, with only using a hand screwdriver it takes significantly longer. This toy offers many ways to play with having so many areas for the balls to be put into the house! Balls can be counted and colors of the balls can be discussed to make this toy educational! All of my children enjoy the excitement of putting the balls into the house and watching them come down through the tubes, the younger children love the opening mailbox and door feature! My kids even incorporate using their play food and animal puppets inside the house. The playhouse has many uses! Overall a quality toy for children big and small to engage with and enjoy!
So much fun!
We would like to thank Step2 for letting us test the Wonderball Fun House as part of the Step2 toy tester program! My husband put the house together and that was a little long, about an hour or so. However I feel the assembly is worth the hour because it is a very sturdy toy. My daughter is 4 and has down syndrome, I was a little worried she would have a hard time figuring out how to get the balls to go into the tubes from the roof. After showing her a couple times she had it down and made my heart swell, she was so excited she kept saying "I did it!" She played non-stop for about an hour with the house. My 7 month old daughter crawled over to join her and has the designated job of stopping the balls from rolling away, even our cat got involved and was playing as well! I love that each tube offers a different outcome, the one with the mailbox is her favorite so far. I would suggest getting extra balls for it as it only comes with 10 but otherwise this toy is so much fun for everyone in our house, we love it! I would recommend this product for any child with special needs, it helps to teach cause and effect and provides tons of giggles!
Too much fun!
Bought this for our grandson (18-months old) because it looked like fun and that it is! He loves throwing a ball and quickly adapted to throwing the balls on the roof and watching them come down the tubes. We put a bucket under the mailbox and he loves to open the mailbox and watch all the balls empty into the bucket. Not that I advise this, but I allow him to sit on the roof and roll all the balls into the tubes (I'm holding him of course) He loves using the gate and going inside the house, too.
Wonderball Fun House
The Step 2 Wonder ball Fun House is exactly as advertised- a house full of fun! We received this product over a week ago and my 18 month of twins have yet to get bored. They are constantly inside this house( or climbing outside it) for plenty of hours of entertainment. The Step 2 Wonder ball Fun House has so many awesome features to play with. The twins especially love all the different ways to throw and interact with the balls you get with the house. Whether it be throwing them on the roof or watching them magically plinko in the pretend kitchen, this house features many surprises and many ways to explore their imaginations. We've also began learning colors and numbers so it's been a fun tool to count or color match. I've personally have enjoyed that it's almost like two toys in one. It features a kitchen so not only is it a ball fortress but it's great for pretend. I like how it attracts my rough house of a son and my mommy wanna be daughter. The Wonder ball fun house is compact which is perfect for use inside. Ours is located in our sun room/playroom and hasn't taken up much space. I do wish it had better storage for the balls to go after play and I do feel 10 balls is plenty otherwise you may be chasing balls all over the house! The directions for assembly are fairly straightforward and provide helpful pictures. It would have been better if the actual pieces were labeled with the numbers that were used to refer to them in the instructions. Because of this, you are not always certain you have the right piece. The only other frustrating part is the fact that it requires drilling screws into the pieces of plastic that make up the playhouse. It would have been helpful if holes were predrilled for these screws, but you actually have to do that yourself. If you have an electric drill, I highly suggest you use it to assemble this product. I can't imagine trying to do this with a screwdriver. It takes quite a bit of screws to accomplish.Once complete though, it is very sturdy. I don't worry about it falling over on my son who likes to climb through the sides rather than use the door.Overall this product has been great and we would recommend it to anyone with children 18 months and up! Thank you again to Step 2 for letting me review this item as part of the Step 2 tester program. All thoughts and opinions on this product are entirely my own.
Very cool play house!
The Wonderball Fun House was a great addition for our children. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year who are enjoying this toy! The tubes the balls travel through have provided lots of interest for my 1 year old! My 3 year old rather just throw the balls around then put them in the tubes! Both kids have had fun going in and out of the house and checking the mail box!Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program!
She loves it!
My granddaughter absolutely loves this ball playhouse! She got it as a gift for Christmas and plays in it 5 days a week. She just turned 2. I put a step stool beside it because she's too short to put the balls on the top. She climbs up and puts the balls in, over and over again! It wasn't too hard to put together, but you really need two people. The way my princess plays with it, I definitely recommend it. Yhis is in her bedroom with a round rug underneath. We put her chair inside and she will watch one of her shows and have a snack. I think it would hold up well outside also.
LATEST KID TOYS IN OUR HOME
We bought this so our Grandchildren ages 9 months and two years would have something to do here at Christmas. We call it Happy Fun Ball after an old Saturday Night Live skit. It keeps toddlers entertained for hours. My Husband was very impressed how easily it goes together and how solid it is once assembled. It's very colorful.
My toddler has a blast in her fun house!
I have always liked Step2, because of the durability and the fact that they are pretty much weather proof. They have lasted us many, many years. It's not a shock that this Wonderball Fun Playhouse lives up to the Step2 reputation. But the best thing about it, is this is one of a kind. I have never seen a playhouse with a bunch of ball ramps and tunnels. The whole idea is created for hours of fun. It did take me appx 30-45 minutes. There were a lot of screws, especially in the posts that hold up the roof. I suggest using a battery powered electric drill to get the job done. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, but I am the mom that always assembles the toys. I wouldn't say I'm a pro, but I do have experience with building larger things than this. There are 10 balls that come with it, and I think that is a great amount. It also comes with a couple cooking pans for kids to pretend to cook with. My toddler who is 2, has played in this for hours, and has really enjoyed it! My 7 year old son loves to see how fast he can get the balls through the tubes on the roof, and they both laugh like crazy. Pros: > Comes with 10 balls and 2 pans > Lots of activities all over the playhouse for hours of fun > Very durable and can stand up to the harsh weather > The house is 33 x 36 x 42 inches > Has an open floor, making it easier to clean > Bright fun colors all over the house! Cons: > Slightly difficult to assemble, lots of screws. I suggest using a powered drill. Overall, this is fun for almost all ages and provides hours of entertainment! My kids have been having a blast with it. It's a top of the line, unique Step2 product, at a good price! Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program.
As expected
product is as described by seller however, box arrived in bad shape. Shipping company employee seems to have had a tough time carrying the large box, The contents inside the box were NOT damaged. I saw the same product at a lower price in ToysRus however, it was not available at the time. Wal-Mart's price was lower than other toy stores.
Lots of Fun!
I want to thank Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. I expect my daughter to play with it more, however it is big enough for them to both enjoy together when they do want to play together. She actually loves to use it just like a play house and brings all her toys inside. I can see this lasting a very long time and growing with her for a while. It is very durable, not sure about weather resistant as I am keeping it as an indoor toy. I was worried my daughter would not reach the top to drop the balls down the chutes but she is and she is pretty short for her age. The assembly was about an hour, I did it myself, but it was not difficult at all. I expected that timeframe when I opened the box and noticed it was pretty big. I think that is just about right for assembly of an item like this. The purple ball popper on the outside of it tends to fall out of the hole and my daughter doesn't really use it that much but that's not a big deal really. I think this is a great product and I would recommend to any of my fellow parents with kids of toddler age to pre-k.
