I purchased the two pack, followed the instruction and hung it by our outdoor patio. The odor wasn't overbearing the first day. Day one only two flys, day two four flys the odor was a bit more noticable. Day three dozen or more the odor was very noticable but tolerable but the trap was attracting a lot a flys to the area. By the end of the day there must of been two to three dozen flies in the trap with lots of flies around are patio. I moved the trap about 40 feet and hung it on the shed. It is now day four early morning I will see how today goes with flies around the patio and in the trap. The product works I will update in a couple of days.

This product literally stinks !!!! which is probably why it catches flies by the boatload. If ever there was a product that does what it is designed to do this is it. While I can attest that it is a fly eating machine I'm still undecided as to if it effectively returns the ability to eat outside without being pestered by flies. We don't really have any fly attracting zones in our garden, but when we try to eat outside we get mobbed. So I purchased one of these and hung it in a far corner away from the garden table, next to the trash cans with the same logic used for mosquito zappers that are supposed to draw them away. Pretty soon it was drawing just about every fly in town. I cannot say we were fly free eating the next day. but there is something very satisfying in the effectiveness of the revenge this product achieves.

Most of those pesky flies were captured in the fly trap. was amazing.

This thing collects flies EXTREMELY well! It smells awful but it's outside so, still worth it!

These are wonderful. They smell bad. But really catch a lot of flies!
