ATTRACTED EVERY NEIGHBOR S FLIES!

This is the most stinkiest disgusting thing I've ever had in my life! Can't even describe what it smells like! All it's doing is attracting all the flies from the whole neighborhood into my yard. I've never had this many flies until I put this thing up! Not all flies are going in. Must be to stinky for even them.. Had it for 2 days

Works great... until it breaks then OH MY GOD

The product did an excellent job trapping flies, the garage was almost clear of them (attracted by garbage). But then the eyelet broke, the bag fell to the ground, all the liquid spilled, and all the trapped living flies (and maggots) promptly escaped. Oh dear Lord the smell that followed. The trap smells pretty bad intact, but the bag contained most of it. When the bag falls to the ground and spills all the extremely noxious liquid, the entire garage smelled pretty much exactly like a decomposing carcass. This stink permeated EVERYTHING!! The stroller, the car parked in the garage, clothing, wood, it even soaked into the concrete and walls. A huge swarm of flies descended, attracted to the smell, and the garage was COMPLETELY UNIMHABITABLE. (The irony cannot be more profound). I scrubbed the entire garage with bleach and the stench has "weakened" but still persists after 4 days. All the clothing I wore for the task had to be pitched. Did it work, yes, rather well. BUT keep this thing WELL clear of any dwelling, this is why. There are far less risky alternatives. Now i may have to call a professional if the smell doesn't air out.

amazing 100% recommend

unbelievable how well these work. they don't get EVERY FLY but they get a ton of them. so worth the money. makes sure you keep it away from any openings of your house though, the smell of whatever is in it to attract the flies is one off the worst scents I've ever smelled, and if the wind is blowing just right and sends a burst of it in your house, be sure not to take a deep breath in

Worked!

The fly trap actually works. I was skeptical because it took longer (about a week or so) to start catching the flies. However, after that the bag was getting full and caught a lot of those flying demons. Also, yes it does have a very strong odor that stinks. I would suggest getting it down when it is full because it will produce maggots. I used a mask, gloves, grocery bags, and garbage bag to dispose it.

AMAZING bang for your buck

I've purchased 4 of these and couldn't believe how quickly it worked. We have a chicken coop that was infested with flies. You'd walk in and hear nothing but buzzing (ew!!!). Hung it close to the coop initially just to attract the ones hanging around inside. Second trap we moved 10-15 feet from the coop and it is working like a charm. Currently hanging from heavy duty string on a small tree. I emptied the first bag too soon, didn't realize it could hold so much. I prefer to put it in a ziplock and then a grocery bag just to make sure nothing escapes and to minimize the smell in the trash can. Second bag was full from the bottom of the bag to the top. AMAZING and has saved my sanity this summer :)

Best Fly trap By far !

This item really work to get read off unwanted flies. It does have a heavy smell but that is the reason flies get trap in it. For the best price buy the 6 bags package ! I fully recommend this item, don't waist your money in order ones that do not work at all !

I would have to say this is one of the best fly traps i have ever purchased. I have it hanging on my porch(i do not recommend)currently. As you can tell by the picture it works. The odor smells similar to a dead animal which you can only smell from about 5 feet away. The amount of flies we have buzzing around our heads while sitting outside has decreased significantly, with only a couple if any. Would love to have more of these but our local walmart is sold out! Great product.

Not For Patio Use

Two stars because sure, the traps works. The problem is it attracts every fly from the neighborhood, and is difficult to dispose of, 1 because don't you dare spill that nasty stench/bag of flies and 2, after disposal it still STINKS to high heaven. My neighbors had to shut their window on side of house by house bin. When I walk outside I smell it and it's IN the bin inside a box and 4 bags. I could see this being great for a horse barn but to put near patio and attract every fly in the world with the smell of rotting flesh x1000? No thanks.

omg is all i can say

I bought 5 of these, but one I goofed on. I put two on the front porch, one by the door, and one in the corner of the porch. One was on the side of the house and the other was on the back porch. I did try to put it in the house...bad idea....smells really bad.....but they work.. It did take a couple of days for it to work. Word of advice cut exactly on the line as the first one I somehow messed up and I put tape on it and thought that would fix it and nope it busted and went everywhere. Had to wash it away. You cut on the lines in a circle...put a string on it ..I used ribbon...and you fill it with water to the fill line and hang it. As I said it stinks and stinks and stinks and it gets worse with the smell. I will not lie I was skeptical if this would even work. I kept an eye on it and it did take a couple of days before it started to work. Next thing I know the traps have all kinds of flies in them. The one on the porch in the corner was the one that filled up the fastest. You can sit and watch the flies land on the bag and then they decide to go in and that is the end of them..its like they see other flies in the bag but they get curious and fall for it to. You will have to add a little bit of water to the bag as it will evaporate a bit from the fill line. To dispose I took it off the nail it was hanging from and with my opened zip lock gallon size bag I shut the fly bag yellow top and placed in the zip lock bag and zipped it shut. Then, I put it in a grocery bag and tied it and set it in the trash. I would literally get fascinated with this trap with as many flies as it caught. I would literally hold my nose, sit and watch the flies get trapped. I took pics and a video. I was able to upload the picture, but not the video. I highly recommend if you have flies, but do not put inside, cut exactly on the line, and dispose as I did. I will be buying in the future. The other bags I have do have flies in them but are not completely full yet.

Works great!!!

I purchased the two pack, followed the instruction and hung it by our outdoor patio. The odor wasn't overbearing the first day. Day one only two flys, day two four flys the odor was a bit more noticable. Day three dozen or more the odor was very noticable but tolerable but the trap was attracting a lot a flys to the area. By the end of the day there must of been two to three dozen flies in the trap with lots of flies around are patio. I moved the trap about 40 feet and hung it on the shed. It is now day four early morning I will see how today goes with flies around the patio and in the trap. The product works I will update in a couple of days.
