Rescue Fly Trap

I like to sit on my porch after a hard days work and chillax with a cocktail in hand...But the flies have another agenda...I have used these in the past with great success...The stench can be a tad much depending on the breeze but a lot less flies bother me....Buy one and see for yourself...A product that actually works...

These work really well. They will attract and contain the flies. However, the odor is terrinle, it smells like dead fish. Additionally, it almost attracts too many flies. Ive had it up for about 2 weeks now and while there are PLENTY of flies in it there are quite a few still swarming my patio at this pont because so many have been attracted.

Wow! Amazing product.

After hanging two of them and checking on them, I thought they weren't going to work. But then the next time I checked them, the bag was FULL of flies and there were even more flies trying to get into the bag. I was shocked! I think placement is the key. And yes, they really do smell bad, so put them in a place you won't have to smell them. I put one by the garage, the other on the side of the house. Worked perfectly.

These work really well at attracting flies. We had it up for maybe 10 minutes and it had already started to collect some. Be aware though, these do give off a scent and it is STRONG. I feel that actually made our fly problem worse. Since the scent is so strong you will have lots of flies flying around wherever you hang it. We tried moving it around to different areas but it didnt help much. The bad outweighed the good for us so we ultilmately stopped using it. We have since found another brand that works just as well without leaving us with such a bad smell and a constant swarm of flies.

We're glad the fly trap worked well for you, though the odor is strong. We recommend hanging the trap at least 20 feet from any outdoor living areas or home entrances. The idea is to draw flies away from where you are. Feel free to reach out to us at info@rescue.com if you have questions or concerns.

Mine must be defective, sides blew open

We hung this up and it started working immediately and then I saw the fly trap on the ground with both plastic sides blown open. All the flies had escaped and the product only lasted a few hours. I bought a two pack so I will have to see what happens to the other one and if I got a defective product.

Best fly catcher

This bag is the best fly catcher I have ever used! You will want to hang it away from where you are because you will have every fly in a two mile radius. We went through 3 bags they do fill up!! Also remember to dispose on trash day. Do not just throw in your trash can you will have flys and maggots.

Want to smell a dead body?? Buy this

This needs to be named “Want to smell a dead body” because it literally smelt like I buried someone in the back yard. Sure it trapped flies but I'm pretty sure the horrible smell attracted EVERY fly in the county!! We had more flies than we started with. I bought 2 of these, but there's no way I will use the other one.

Accept no substitutes!

I had purchased two of these at the beginning of summer and they filled up with dead flies right away. The store was out of them, but a cheaper look-alike was on the website. I made the mistake of buying the cheaper ones, and discovered they don’t attract flies at all, and the packet of attractant isnt even inside the pouch, making the set up messy. This brand costs more but they actually work. The attractant is already inside the pouch, and it really works. This is the brand to buy. Dont waste your money on the others.

New Formula does NOT work

We have used these fly traps for years with great success. The new (2017) bait does NOT work... it will NOT attract flies the way the old bait did. We have a couple dozen we bought last month and as a work-around, we toss a raw shrimp into each trap. That does work, but you shouldn't have to do that.
