I bought two of these, one for my son and one for myself. I ordered online, site-to-store, and it has never failed me. However, I was worried when the Walmart worker that got the boxes for me said she bought one and the guitar was busted from the Nut up. But both guitars were in perfect order. And my son and I are learning to play quickly. Great item to buy for beginners or for kids.

Was pretty happy with the purchase but found that there was no strap provided for the guitar and that the tuner did not seem to work as well as it should. Also the Cd was not as instrutional as it needed to be. Will probably end up taking the guitar some where to be tuned and still paying for some lessons.

This is my 1st guitar, I'm in my 80's. The FedEx man brought it early on a Sunday morning, it was well packaged and arrived undamaged, with everything that was included in the bundle. The CD is packaged in the back of the Dummies book. I tuned the guitar with the included tuner. The guitar is beautiful and appears well made, and has a beautiful sound. Between "Guitar Basics for DUMMIES" and YouTube videos even I should be able to make music to entertain myself

For the first timer, this guitar is a good bargain. It has all the necessary options included. The only thing I would recommend is to purchase set of new guitar strings as a add-on gift since this does not include a set of strings. Otherwise, this is a perfect gift.

15 year old daughter has recently decided she wants to learn guitar. I wanted a good starter kit and not spend a lot of money. She just opened last night but so far she really likes it and is very excited to get started. Arrived quickly and in good shape.

To get a kid started on a musical instrument without a huge investment this guitar set is perfect. Pretty good quality in the first place but the accessories make it a really good deal for the money. Was a great present for my 10 year old and with a couple starter lessions I hope he is off and running. Not a big video game fan, and makes a great parent/child project.

The guitar is not setup. I am new with zero experience in guitars. When i went to misic class, my teacher said that it needed a setup as tunes are not coming up correctly. Cost to do the setup and correction is more than the price of the guitar. Unfortunately i joined music class after the return dates had passed, so unable to return now.

I received this from Wal-Mart in the box. After I got home and seemed all the packaging I was ecstatic. The guitar was beautiful and sounded great. About a week went by and I noticed that one of the braces inside the guitar was broken. I already threw out the original packaging so now I'm stuck with a broken guitar. That's what I get for buying from Wal-Mart.

The teach yourself DVD and the rightmost item shown at the bottom of the picture were not found in the box. I don't know who to ask the get the missing items. If I ever get them I will review my rating, by then I should have the input from the guitar user. I still have not heard from the youngster that will be using the guitar as to the quality of the guitar.

Some of the other guitar packages seemed to come with better "collateral" items (shoulder strap, better book, etc.), but I wonder if they would sound as good as this guitar. The electronic tuner is great, now the other guitar I own sounds fantastic after it is tuned! The Guitar for Dummies book is ok, it shows the cords which is really all I wanted. It would have been nice if this package came with a basic shoulder strap like many of the other bundles do. Again, this is a fantastic sounding guitar.
