It has a vibrant, upward-sloping acidity that reminds me of toasted orange zest and tart red berries. However, before it gets too sharp, it mellows out into a beautiful, smooth finish that has a faint, nutty sweetness, think slivered almonds or light honey rather than heavy chocolate.

They were faint but noticeable. The coffee was very light so if blonde roast is not for you then this does not do it. I tend to gravitate towards dark roast but I kept an open mind.
