It’s a smooth, easy-drinking light roast with subtle citrus brightness and a hint of toasted almond. It’s not overly acidic, which makes it great for everyday sipping, whether black or with cream. I bought this for my kids and I to try. We all agree that this is really good and we definitely will buy this again. Frankly my kids just like to open the bag and take a big whiff early in the mornings before I brew it. Their Dad is a coffee snob so they appreciate certain roasts over others lol

However, when I poured it over ice, the orange really came through. While hot tasted a little bitter, the iced version was tangy and tasteful.

Normally I buy another brand whole bean medium roast, and grind and drip maker. Thought I'd try this. It was not as flavorful as my normal. Unsure if it's weaker due to roasting less, being pre-ground, or other factors, but Sunsera was mild and good tasting. For the morning 1st cup I prefer my normal medium roast whole bean. I just finished a 2nd cup of Sunsera in early afternoon. This time I did it through my espresso machine. That was much better than the drip method. Could taste more of the acidity (citrus flavor) people expressed. Hopefully this helps everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Starbucks Sunsera blend is another blond roast and I think it is weaker than the Veranda bend, which I enjoy. One can taste the notes of citrus and toasted almonds. But if you are not a fan of bitter tasting coffees this one is okay.

I got to try a free sample to test it out and would absolutely consider purchasing it again. I enjoyed it with a splash of cream.
