It didn't need to air out and had zero off gassing smells. I usually feel unsupported on my lower back but this pillow top really fills out your curves and supports everywhere. The floral design is very cute, I do worry that it might pill but haven't had any issues yet.

I just started sleeping on this mattress and it has a horrible bubble in the middle. This is the cool calming queen mattress. It's a replacement for a different mattress from serta and it only lasted 6 months before the sides started caving in. I will never buy a serta mattress again.
