Very nice looking. Deeper than I expected...Only problem is that it opens every time I pass in front of it. It might be better if I had another place to put it, but I have a very small kitchen area. It works great when you have your hands full and you need to throw something in the trash. I also think it is too expensive for a trash can.....I cant believe I paid that much for it. Overall, it was a good buy and I would recommend it.

Ordered two of these. Worked great, about year and a half, then stopped working. Also, if I close manually, it opens itself part way. Two pails purchased at same time, both died at same time. Expensive for short term. Did like it, though, for ease of use and cleaning. Unable to contact manufacturer.

This trash can had made my life so much easier in the last couple weeks since I made my purchase. I have a finance who didn't use the lid on our previous trash can, which allowed our dog to have free access to the garbage. With the new trash can, my fiance isn't worried about getting his hands dirty every time he throws something away and my dog hasn't been able to get into the trash can. It works exactly as the description says and I couldn't be happier with it. Sometimes I find myself looking at the trash can thinking about how awesome it is.

This is NOT the first one I have bought. I have had these sensor trash cans for several years. However, I like the Nine Stars one because of the shape -- fits right next to my refrigerator, out of the way. Love that all you have to do is wave something over it and it opens - So handy when you have something wet or your hands are full! The only disadvantage is that they do wear out over time. However, I recently learned that you can order just the top and don't have to order the whole can!

I love my new transh cans. The only complaint I have is that they arrived slightly dented, but we decided it was too much hassle to return them. The magic hands free lids work amazingly well and we all love throwing things out now! The cans stay MUCH cleaner than our old plastic ones, and the shape is such that even bigger items like gallon milk jugs fit in nicely. The bags stay nicely secured as well. We have one for recycles and one for trash and love them! Because they are expensive, we waited a long time to buy them but we are happy that we did. :)

Deciding to splurge on a touchless trash can but having limited area in which to put it, I opted for the Nine Stars Motion Sensor Slim Touchless model. Ordered online through Walmart which was a quick, easy process. They advised shipping date in a quick and efficient manner and the can arrived as predicted. Assembly was easy, and I am thrilled to not have to step on a pedal any longer or get my hands yucky. Every time I throw something away, it's a delight to see that lid pop up and garbage disappear. As I've only had it for a week, it's difficult to rate durability but the product appears well made and has a warranty.

Love this trash can! This is our second touchless trashcan. The first was an iTouchless, which we loved. The lid mechanism broke after a number of years, but we got about 4 years of heavy use out of it. We got this trashcan as a replacement a couple weeks ago and it works great. It is awesome to be able to open the can hands free. You will wonder how you ever lived without a touchless trash can!

I was realy surprised how long the battery life is. This calls for D batteries, so I figured I would purchase a set of rechargeable batteries (with charger, another $40). But much to my surprise the batteries are still going strong and you can turn off the sensor, which I try to remember to do at night, but I forget and it doesn't seem to run down the battery life. Easy to change out bag and there is a ring to hold the bag in place so it doesn't drop inside. Don't we all hate that? I meant to order the other version that opens horizontally, which is cheaper, but I ordered this one, but I think I like it better.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I have one in my kitchen and one outside! One was broken by someone that pushed the top closed and messed up the gears! I love it, it is so convenient when I have lots of garbage in my hands, it opens for me! What a treasure, especially if I have unhealthy items to put in the can.

It works pretty good so far, only had it for a week. It takes 4 double D batteries that hopefully will last a long time. I probably should have waited a few months to give the review to give a better opinion. The only thing I would say I am a little disappointed in is the delay in opening, it is a little slow, but overall I am very satisfied so far.
