I have been wanting this trash can forever and finally decided to get it after all the wonderful reviews and it was well worth the wait. The price was great along with free shipping, just couldn't pass it up anymore. I actually think this trash can holds more trash than the rubbermaid can I had, and their both the same size. It seems to compact it more. I'm using less trash bags now so something is working better than my previous trash can.

I had been searching for the right stainless steal garbage can and I came across this one on line. I read the reviews and it was got wonderful reviews that I had to buy it. I got it at a great deal and it was just as described. I can't say how it will work in the long run since it's only been 2 weeks but so far I love it!

I've had these for a couple months now. For the price you get two cans for what you would expect elsewhere for 1. The cans look nice and are of a better quality than what you are paying for (good value). They are relatively heavy and the auto open feature works well and consistently. It's nice not having to touch the trash can when cooking (or period now). The "stay open" feature is great for extended use such as peeling potatoes into the can. Not sure about battery life but package claims 10,000 lid cycles. I got these because my 2 large dogs kept getting into the trash - this lid and weight keeps them at bay, especially if you make it a little heavier by putting a brick or two in the bottom of the can (no, not in the trash bag liner, but under it). My only grips, if you'd call it that, are I wish the gauge of the metal were heavier (never hurts & prevents dings but would surely cost more) and that the seam running down the back were less obvious or gone (cleaner look, probably also more costly). A feature I'd like to see and plan to do myself is make it so the lid clips onto the can rather than just rest on the top in a grove. This would prevent pets from knocking it over to get in, which is my main goal in addition to all the other typical trash can feature desires.

I bought two of the these...one for my parents and one for myself.....very nice......not too big...fits fine in a small space....tall kitchen can height ...motion detector sensor works great with just the slight hand movement, also can open manually. Easy access for replacing bags.....overall great product....I purchased two of them on Black Friday for $30 each. .....it was a steal for the price and the quality.

I agree with a previous post. It was packed very well. It may be a bit sensitive, but it doesn't change my mind. I would still recommend this to anyone. It's a good size and looks nice in the kitchen. I've been in the market for a stainless steel trash can and this was the same price as a regular step on can.

I was hesitant about this purchase because my grandma has a sensor garbage can and it is really loud and takes a long time for the sensor to pick up your motion. This garbage can is great!!! It is quiet, and detects your hand motion and raises the lid! Great value and its affordable!!!!

I love the nice, stainless look and the motion sensor that opens automatically when you need to throw something away. It also holds quite bit of garbage, utilizing your whole trash bag before it's time to take it out. Probably works best in a low traffic area because sometimes if you are around it, it will open. Great for the money!!

I was a bit skeptical about a motion censored trash can; however, this can has made a believer out of me. My son is buying a house, and he and his fiancé had to have one just like it. Being the kind of mother I am, they now have one too. We love them.

Very pleased with this product. The price was very reasonable compared to similar stainless steel trash cans. The design is sleek and looks very nice in my kitchen. The only draw back is that the lid sometimes closes too quickly, but if you con't to move your hand in front of the sensor it will stay open longer.
