I love the nice, stainless look and the motion sensor that opens automatically when you need to throw something away. It also holds quite bit of garbage, utilizing your whole trash bag before it's time to take it out. Probably works best in a low traffic area because sometimes if you are around it, it will open. Great for the money!!

Happy with the quick delivery of stainless trash receptacle. This is perfect for the spot I needed for it to fit in. Have another stainless can purchased at Sams and that one was larger in depth and is a truly sturdy can ,however just wanted a slimmer profile. This does exactly that. Was concerned the automatic opening would be annoying ( had one long ago). I think the slimmer profile makes this easier to avoid the constant opening. You also have the option to turn the auto feature off. This trade up can holds just as much as the larger one I am replacing.

I've had these for a couple months now. For the price you get two cans for what you would expect elsewhere for 1. The cans look nice and are of a better quality than what you are paying for (good value). They are relatively heavy and the auto open feature works well and consistently. It's nice not having to touch the trash can when cooking (or period now). The "stay open" feature is great for extended use such as peeling potatoes into the can. Not sure about battery life but package claims 10,000 lid cycles. I got these because my 2 large dogs kept getting into the trash - this lid and weight keeps them at bay, especially if you make it a little heavier by putting a brick or two in the bottom of the can (no, not in the trash bag liner, but under it). My only grips, if you'd call it that, are I wish the gauge of the metal were heavier (never hurts & prevents dings but would surely cost more) and that the seam running down the back were less obvious or gone (cleaner look, probably also more costly). A feature I'd like to see and plan to do myself is make it so the lid clips onto the can rather than just rest on the top in a grove. This would prevent pets from knocking it over to get in, which is my main goal in addition to all the other typical trash can feature desires.

Very nice looking can for great value. Sensor is nice feature, especially with option to turn on/off or to continually keep open. Lid opens quickly, but need to be over top of lid & then pull hand away fast...would like to have it open more on approach rather than when over top. Overall though 5 stars...only had for a few weeks so just need to adjust to the opening of the lid.

I'm very happy with this purchase. The trashcan works as advertised, and is very sleek. One of the best features of this model is that you can easily turn the automatic feature off, which is great if you have pets that like to learn new tricks. For the money, I think this is a great product.

Really big opening and will definately fit a plastic gallon of milk but that goes into the recycle. I just hope the four D-batteries will last for a year. The only problem is that I have walk in kitchen. So when I passby too close it will go off. Sometimes, I turn it off at night so it doesn't freak me out in the morning. Overall, the best x-mas present to me. It beats the $100+ at BB&Beyond.

We were looking for a stainless trashcan and this one was on sale on walmart's website. The automatic open function was an added bonus. Overall, we have been very pleased with its appearance and performance. The only thing that concerns me is the piece that fits in the top of the trashcan between the lid and the can itself to conceal the trash bag. It is made out of plastic that feels a bit flimsy. Other than that, a great trash can.

The product works fine but the 'close' button fails to work after 2+ months. Luckily that it is still Walmart's return period. Phoned Walmart and they shipped us a new one and we mailed back the bad one. I paid $4+ to buy the careplan this time for 2 year coverage.

This Motion Sensor Trash Can works just as it was advertised. The motion sensor is very sensitive. The only problem I had with it is the fact that when I unpacked the item it has a small dent on the lower front of it. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

I bought my first sensor can and didn't read the instructions thoroughly. I got the sensor wet when I cleaned it and it never worked again. Since I saw that as my fault I am trying again. I like that it opens automatically. The downside, other than the hard to clean part, is the lid closes very quickly.
