I expect more from Rubbermade. Absolutely pitiful. It does assemble easily but try to move it afterward and the bottom will fall off. I returned it. No more Rubbermade for my household!

I bought 2 of these to use as very low maintenance outdoor toy boxs. The assembly was a piece of cake and initally they worked great. The box as a seat was very sturdy. however now after 4wks of midwest August exposure to the elements Im noticing some warping and increased gaping in the seams. lids don't seem to want to snap shut any more. For the cost of these I expected a bit more.

It was super easy to put together. I have 6 chair cushions and 4 foot cushions to put in this unit. I was hoping it was large enough but it was not. I was able to put my 4 table chair cushions and 2 foot cushions in there in the space that was available. If you have more cushions than that, this is not the unit for you.

I bought the XL of this box on account of prior positive experiences with the Rubbermaid brand, but was left disappointed, as such will re returning it for a full refund (thank you Walmart). The box is easy to assemble (snaps together without any tools), however, within a few days, gaps opened up along the joints, rendering it prone to leakages. The gaps were so pronounced that that lid would not close properly. The box was kept in a shaded area under a deck and I live in Vermont, therefore, it is unlikely that any unreasonably extreme heat could have caused the warping. As I only stored a few outdoor cushions, there was little, if any un-sprung mass pressing on the sides that might have resulted in the warping. Therefore, as a materials engineer, I suspect that Rubbermaid selected an inappropriate polymer for this application. If Rubbermaid's design intent was to develop a deck box to be used outside, where there are variable climatic conditions, then they needed to have specified a polymer with mechanical properties that are suitable for the application conditions.

I am 5'1 and can almost lay down in this. Easy to assemble and definitely sturdy.

This is made super cheap. Does not stay together.

It is much bigger than I thought. It took about 30 minutes with 2 people to put together. very durable and sturdy.

Great size-easy to put together - disappointing though with the seal. I was expecting items to stay dry - was expecting waterproof
