Bought this for my boyfriend for his recyclables. Previously, he had multiple containers on his deck which looked sloppy and raccoons kept getting into. This is a much neater solution.

The box as a whole was pretty heavy for me but once I opened it and took them out piece by piece it was very easy to handle everything went smooth I snapped in as it should very awesome product thank you

Love this! it is the quality you would expect from Rubbermaid and not flimsy like some other brands. a little bit of a pain to pop out the plastic notches, but not too bad. big enough to fit out outdoor cushions.

This was very easy to assemble. I've sat on it and opened and closed the lid many times and it holds together quite well. I did read some bad reviews before I bought this, but based on good experiences with Rubbermaid in the past I bought it anyway and am very glad I did. Anyone having problems assembling this or having it fall apart clearly did not read the very easy directions.

Solid construction and design. Works well as a "seat" and remains dry in rains. Assembly is extremely easy and, in reading other reviews, it is so sad that those who 'complain' about its wobbling and looseness have simply failed to place the bottom piece facing DOWN as printed thereon. They have the bottom facing UP and, consequently, the pieces don't lock in place... Common sense, folks, common sense ! Lastly, the two black hinge pins need to be 'driven' into place with a small hammer and narrow piece of plywood or large screwdriver (with the TOP about 1/2 open).

When trying to assemble this box it was obvious the base was damaged from the mold with a ripple on one end, also the pins on the side walls do not line up properly. The walls have gaps and won't stay together, Nothing lines up correctly not even the holes for the lock. I am very disappointed...You pay more for Rubbermaid products expecting higher quality, I will definitely think twice before buying your product again.

Our Rubbermaid deck box has the capacity to hold cushions for 10 deck chairs and keeps them weatherproof and insect proof. It's been in service for about a year and there is no sign of any deterioration. Also, the colors used make this box blend in beautifully with just about any decor. It took about 5-10 minutes to assemble.

I received the Deck Box yesterday shipped to my house, I put it together today and it appears (ONLY APPEARS) well put and tight together, although you can see spaces between the seems. You move it and the bottom comes out, we feel it is like a lego, it is not tight enough and I do not think the cushions will be safe and dry on the patio. OK WALMART, THIS PIECE IS COMING BACK TO YOU, we will try the Deck Box listed on your website for $30 more, I saw better reviews for that Deck Box. Sorry, this did not work for us

Bought this box over 5 years ago to store all of my grilling supplies and equipment. Has survived 4 Virginia and 1 south Florida summers in direct sunlight, freezing Virginia winters, and 3 hurricanes...only issue with it is that one of the plastic lid restraining straps tore during a strong wind storm when the lid was violently lifted up because I didn't have it pushed all the way down...not a default of the product as I don't expect plastic straps to hold up to that kind of force. We absolutely love this crate as a deck storage container and seat and would definitely recommend it to others. Am writing this review today because I'm on the website looking for dividers and shelf accessories for the crate...the interior of the crate has a lip half way up (for a shelf?) and grooves that look like they support dividers...hoping to eliminate my only issue with the product, and that is inability to partition off and organize the interior....only reason I'm giving Ease of Use 4 instead of 5 stars.

This Rubbermaid product is nothing but junk. I have bought two Keter brand boxes from Sam's in the past and they are very good but this particular Rubbermaid is a bad buy at half the price. In the picture it looks like a beige and dark brown but in real life it is light gray and medium gray if even medium.
