BEST PC 4K display.

If you're working from home, this is the BEST bang for the buck 4K PC monitor. This display supports 4:4:4 chroma which is needed for clear text. You will pay way more for a dedicated 4k PC display. For under $230, this is a win/win.

TV Upgrade finally

Nice picture, color, and sound. The only drawback is that there is a lag when using my FIOS remote to change channels, using the previous button, and sometimes the previous channels listing disappears.

Reveiw in progress.

So far this unit has been very nice. I gave it four stars only because I have not gotten to use it much. I like Vizio products and I have had really good service from them.

This smart tv has it all, best purchase!

Best value for the money, I was going to spend hundreds more for a "better brand" and I decided to go for this 2020 Vizio model which has been amazed me with the image quality, with 4K and HDR you are at the top of the image quality.

40" Vizio Smart TV

Nice picture, fast streaming, lots of apps already installed. I bought the 40" Vizio to improve my bar area for game days. I'm happy with the purchase.

Far from great...

I got this tv to go in my kitchen. I didn't want to get something real expensive. So.. with all the great reviews I thought this was the tv. We have 3 Samsung TVs in our home. 2 are 4K the other isn't. So, I thought this tv was a steal... $240 with 4K! Well It's not 4K. I messed with the tv for an hr. and my husband did too. I can see where it's 1080p but no option for 4K. I know I can't get 4K with my satellite box. I should with my 4k amazon fire stick. But no! It was disappointing. Idk if I'm used to looking at the Samsung TVs screens in our home. Where the picture is great.. this one is a downer. I should have sent it back. I'm usually the only one watching in the kitchen so I just kept it. I know I will never buy another Vizio. If your wanting something cheap and just ok then get it. Don't get it for a great 4k picture. The reason for the 2 stars is that it fits perfectly where I needed it.

Hello Eribell, this is absolutely a 4K capable TV. At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. A good way to test the capabilities of the TVs 4K quality would be to use the YouTube app if you have the TV connected to a home network. In YouTube search for "4K HDR". If the TV has a good internet connection, the videos there will really show off the TV's abilities. The TV will automatically display the highest resolution and best picture possible from the device and show or movie that is being played. If you’d like any assistance adjusting the video settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE

A NIGHTMARE, FIRST CONTROL WAS NOT WORKING WELL, AND FINALLY WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO BUY A NEW CONTROL BECAUSE I LIKED THE TV, TV STOPPED DISPLAYING THE VIDEOS, YOU HEAR THEM BUT YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO WATCH ANYTHING BUT A GREY AND NOISY IMAGE, SO MY WORST PURCHASE AFTER JUST 1 WEEK OF USAGE

Washed out dim picture

Was excited to find a 40" 4K at a reasonable price. However, the picture quality is a huge letdown. I tried streaming YoutubeTV and Netflix on various picture settings...even searched online for the perfect calibration. Everything is too dark and any attempt to brighten completely washes out the picture. The only mildly acceptable situation was blinds closed, viewing straight on in Vivid. Going to try Insignia's 1080P to save a few bucks but will probably end up going with a Samsung. This may be ok for light use in a guest bedroom at best.

So much hope, so much disappointment

I bought this TV for my bedroom and thought with it being 4K UHD and 120hz refresh rate it would be amazing, but unfortunately it wasn't. After researching further, all UHD's may have great stats, but their actual picture has the look of an old school projection TV. If you're not looking at it straight on, it's going to be fuzzy or hazy. That being said, I think UHD's would be great for computer monitors or video games because anything with graphics did look solid, but I would NOT recommend this TV (or any UHD for that matter) for watching shows, sports or movies.
