Great TV and Reasonably Priced

I brought this TV a month ago. I am very happy with my purchase. I did not a little difficult setting up the TV but I call customer service. The customer service representative was very helpful, patience, kind, and knowledgeable.

Freezes up and shuts down randomly

I haven't had this TV a full 6mths and its already freezing up. Shutting down. Closing my apps when watching movies. I'm kinda confused what to do. Or why its not working properly. I have tried resetting it. Unsure of what to do next

Needs Firmware Update from purchase

I bought this TV a week ago and the smart cast won't work. I called Vizio and they said they're waiting on a firmware update to be developed. Didn't give me a timeline either.

being of 'a certain age' it's smarter than me

fantastic product for the techie younger person born in the computer age, sadly, i had to return it because i can't coax it to talk to me. could not even understand the 42 page online manual

Works great. Til it doesn't.

I replaces a 20+ yr old Sony. I'm still getting use to picture quality, not like my Sony but it's nice enough. It's very nice for the money I spent, Vizio has always been a good brand , I've had smaller screens in this brand and they last.

Tv freezes a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I am watching Netflix or Amazon prime or Hulu in the middle of a show it just freezes have to unplug the tv so that I can see it again

To power cycle a TV you will want to unplug the power and then hold the power button on the back of the TV for at least 5-10 seconds while unplugged. After those 5-10 seconds, go ahead and plug the power back in and power it on. Nice tv

Bought this as a bedroom tv and so far I enjoy it. My biggest complaints so far are only one USB port (I use backlighting) and when I switch the the only usb plug it's very buggy recognizing a hard drive
