I should have upgraded sooner!

I never felt the need to upgrade my tv because my old stand-up tube tv worked just fine, and I didn't know how much better a flat screen smart TV was. Wow! I'm super impressed with my new updated smart TV. Now, I just have to learn how to use all the awesome features.

Frustrating

Waste of money!

I bought my tv in December. It has purple and green lines going through the picture. Unfortunately I lost my receipt. I went to the retailer I bought it from to see if they could look it up. They told me I'd have to contact Vizio so I did. I was told they couldn't do anything without the receipt and I'd have to go to the retailer. I explained that I already had and was told to contact them. I asked for a manager to call me and they told me first thing in the morning they would.. we'll they did not so I called back the next day. Same story would not let me speak with anyone else. I bought a Vizio because it's made in the U.S. If a company is so poorly run and don't back there products the shouldn't be in business. So I wasted my money and time trying to resolve the issue. So I can watch tv I purchased a different one certainly not a Vizio. I will let everyone I know that it's a poor brand and not to waste their.

Very Smart TV ..

Love the resolution 4K and the streaming features, I can see YouTube with just a couple of click on the remote without having to indicate what HDMI to use. Very cool product. Very happy . This is my 4th Vizio .. I had an older 55" and it was not 4K and would not work with Amazon .. so I bought this one which is 60" much better.

The most enjoyable TV experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like not using a separate device plugged into the tv. Having nearly everything available I use and being able to use Chromecast and Apple for the things not available is overall fairly smooth. Talked to GF about getting a Large Screen Vizio for our new home because using multiple devices has been clunky.

Love it!

Got this TV at a local grocery store for a steal. With the help of my tech-savvy son, who detailed the important features, I bought it to discover it exceeded all expectations. This is my second Vizio big screen TVs purchase. That now makes me a loyal follower.

The SmartCast System is very Intuitive.

The Vizio V series is a great entry level line. I only with that I could download additional apps. Disney+ and other apps that are not preloaded must be casted via smart phone or accessed via a separate streaming device. Ideally, all streaming would run through the TV.

Excellent

I have had this set for about a month now and it has exceeded my expectations. The main feature I love is that it has Google Assistant. My entire home from door locks to lights is linked to GA. Since my children's last television blew out due to overuse (running all night), this feature allows me to cut the power sooner rather than later. Overall, money well spent.

I purchased 3 different vizio TVs. All 3 had issues. First one a 32" was working fine then just recently couldn't control channels or volume by remote or by controls on TV. Next one, 50", I could only get Netflix to come up, as soon as I tried to connect Prime or chromcast I would get blank screen nothing would happen. 3rd one, 50", remote and tv controls will sometimes work. I used to love Vizio but learned my lesson. Sent 2 back and returning the last one this week.

Great Apps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This V-series have so many apps, you don't need cable or satellite to watch TV shows and movies but will need internet service to connect to the app's website. My only disappointment is there is no sports Apps for shows like ESPN and ESPN Plus.

No sound!!!

We bought a new vizio 50” smart tv. Found out not smart at all. When I hiked it up there was no sound. Got on the phone with a vizio technician. She spent a great amount of time changing settings and her final conclusion was it could not communicate with our cable. Cable tech said has had this problem with vizio. Could fix by changing out the box which would lose recordings. Have a new Samsung.
