Should of bought a Roku TV

Bought this TV after our Hisense Roku TV died after 14 months. Hoping the Vizio will be better quality. Problem is that the software built into the TV is terrible. You can only stream the Apps that are built in by Vizio. We have been unable to add Apps of our own choice. Had we known this we never would have purchased the TV. Ended up buying a Roku device and hooking it to the TV.

Really good tv

I love this tv only thing that would make it an excellent product would be the freedom to download apps to it so it would be more convenient for us consumers than have to either cast from a smart phone or tablet or to hook a fire or roku stick up just to be able to use the apps you need because in all truth a regular tv would work just as well ...I don't understand why this is considered a smart TV if you can download apps to it. But it has a great picture and awesome sound. For the price it's a great buy but the name "smart tv" isn't correct.

Great TV for the price.

I've purchased other Vizio TVs in the past so I'm familiar with the brand. I'm satisfied with the picture quality and the overall viewing experience. The speakers are OK, but I'd recommend a sound bar (especially if you have a noisy household like me). I have a Vizio soundbar hooked up to the TV and it makes a big difference. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this TV.

GOOD COLOR!

This is a great TV for the price the color is good has lots of good features but to me the sound is not real good I am hard of hearing so it may be partly me but I just don't feel the sound is real clear I wish I could fix that I may try to figure it out later but it is a good very good TV for the price otherwise it's five stars just to me the sound was not the greatest for my ears

Excellent picture, loaded with apps

Bought this TV a couple of weeks ago, we bought another one just like it 8 months ago, because the picture, and sound quality, are excellent. My only problem with these sets is that they need to be more sturdy!!! The reason for the second purchase, in 8 months, is because I accidentally brushed against the first one, and it fell, the frame bent when I caught it mid air, which messed up the picture....now has a horizontal line across the screen!!! It us a good bedroom TV though!!

Nice!

This unit provides a lot of bang for the money. And, the Pluto TV is a nice extra if you want something different and apart from needing a cable subscription. So far smooth sailing with easy set up and intuitive controls. Need to learn more about casting! definitely recommend

Has every app on the market and free TV!

Love it. Bought this TV because I dont want to spend on expensive cable. live alone and don't watch much TV. The little bit I do, I browse on my phone. This TV streams nicely with my hot spot. Colors, size and weight are great. I highly recommend this to anyone. Awesome TV for an affordable price

Great picture

Working good so far...only been about 2 weeks..also sometimes on the input selection the tv screen magnifies or something..not sure... no updates needed..just acting a little weird and the remote control sometimes lagg.. will contact service department!

Good enough

Everything about the tv is great, color and contrast is good for the price, better then expected. One problem is i can see the back lights in in scenes that are bright or made of a solid bright color which detract from the quality. ( side note* i was really hoping i could try out the m series so i mite make a review on that when ever i get it.)

Not happy at all

I haven't been happy with this purchase since the day I bought it. I have 4 Vizio TV's at my house and the new one has the worse color of all 4. I've had to reset it to the factory settings to get the sound to work and stop starting up in the smart TV setting and locking up. My other TVs have outstanding pictures and this TV has been a total disappointment
