Nice for the price

Had this for a few weeks, purchased to replace a 26" 1080p Vizio I took a chance on nearly a decade ago. This was a little larger than I wanted, but the 32" 4k didn't have all of the features and wasn't really that much less expensive. Just hope this TV will last as long as the 26" (it's still going, just in the guest bedroom).

Excellent Value!

I LOVE this TV! The features & quality are fantastic for the price. Picture quality is great - much better than other brands at twice the price. I'm impressed with Vizio TVs. If you're on a tight budget & looking for a top quality Smart TV, I highly recommend this model.

Easy setup!

Ok, so I spent 45 minutes doing all the set up and putting in passwords ect, , but I don't feel it was difficult and I've only gotta do it once!! Very pleased with TV so far. Good picture, good color, audio better than my last Vizio, and a ton of great features.

It was difficult in getting my VIZIO setup.

I had a difficult time trying to get my Vizio setup. It didn't have the greatest instruction. Everything was online. I wished I had a paper manuel to refer for assistance. I had to watch several different Youtube videos to figure out the setup. It didn't have the current updates. Since I purchased my tv, I couldn't watch any streaming channels for 4 days. I wasn't really happy with the purchase, but it's better than it was. I am a previous owner of Vizio television and I really enjoyed my old tv, which still works. I wanted an upgrade where I could stream from my WiFi.

A great YV to fill the 40" category

This TV replaced a 37" Vizio which was a great TV, except that about 2 years ago the sound board failed and set couldn't be fixed. There were strict cabinet size restrictions and at that time no set on the market would have been usable. We were forced to incorporate a sound board. Last week the video failed and we were forced to look for a new TV. Now there are more sets on market that would physically fit cabinet. We chose this bevcause of our very positive Vizio experience, with the added feature that we replaced the 37" with a 40" in same cabinet. We were very pleased its operation and then found out about the included "WatchFree", and it was like getting icing on the cake. Great feature, especially with the pandemic restrictions. The 4K picture is much sharper that the 1080 on the old set and the color is much better. One drawback is that the color quality drops off more drastically when viewed from the side than with the old TV. Viewing from straight on to about 45 degrees to either side, the color is great. The price was great, about 1/3 of the price of the old set. I would buy this set again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Great Picture & Features!

This is our 3rd Vizio purchase and am so impressed with this purchase! So easy to setup and install, a lot features (apps.), and great/awesome picture! We purchased this 3rd TV because we are so pleased with the last 2 TV purchases. Impressed with the quality and long lasting. Keep up the great job!!

Needing a sound bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my VIZIO tv for a few years now and the color may not be as good now as when I bought it but overall I like the product. Can't afford the sound bar but want to enter to get one. Thank you VIZIO.

Awful from day 1.

Awful TV. The interface is confusing, simple apps like HBO MAX are missing, smartcast hardly ever works and when it does, it shuts off so quickly. The worst part is the lip sync has been off for 75% of when we've had this TV. We have to turn the tv on, off, and on again to fix it every single time we use it. The volume is inconsistent between programs and it is constantly freezing. Can't say one good thing about this TV.

Hello Toad2441, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback. From your description of the issue, it seems like the TV might not be fully up to date with the most recent firmware. Recent updates have made general improvements to the TVs performance along with adding the HBO Max application to the SmartCast Home. To check for updates go to Menu > Admin & Privacy and select Check for Updates. Another feature that might be helpful would be the Volume Leveling found by going to Menu > Audio. This feature will help balance out the audio changes between content and commercials. Good when it works.

Had my Vizio for a few months now. Seems like the software has serious glitches. At times the menu screen with all the apps takes over a minute to cone up. One time becoming apparently frozen resulting in me completely resetting the TV. When watching Hulu when a commercial comes on the audio to my Vizio surround system cuts out and never returns. I have ensured both have latest software etc and I run a high quality home between the two devices. I am also disappointed that there is no HBO max app available for Vizio instead I have to use a roku stick or Xbox for that service.

WORST TV EVEEEERRRR

This TV was a birthday gift from my boyfriend. I was too excited to set it up but once I did my nightmare began. The tv gets stuck like it's operating off of AOL - all of the time, literally. It gets so bad at times that I have to physically disconnect my power cord from the outlet. The remote jams up
