For the first year it was great...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first year the TV worked great. I had absolutely no issues. However, pretty much as soon as the warranty expired, the TV started acting wonky. It's at the point that it has to be unplugged and plugged back in every few days or else it stops working right. It just stays on a blank screen without bringing up the home screen. Even when you change it from energy saving to hard restart, it still has this issue. I had a different Vizio TV previously this that never had these issues, even after 3 years. Pros: When it worked right, the aps loaded immediately. The screen stays clear and has a good resolution. I had no issues with internet connect, both hardline and wifi were good. The menu is fairly easy to work with. Everything is setup so that you can easily access whatever you need to in the menu. Cons: (Besides previously mentioned) The main cons are the app limitations. First, there is no way to download apps, update them, or clear their cache. You just have to wait for Vizio to add any new apps in a future update for the TV. It took almost a year after HBOMax came out for the app to even be added. The set up to arrange the apps in the list are also a problem. You can't remove any apps from the app row. You're stuck with ALL of them. When trying to arrange them, the TV has issues with freezing up because there too many items in the list to move them around without the TV struggling with its lack of memory. This means that in order to adjust what apps appear first in the lineup, you end up spending 30-45 minutes just trying to get everything set up the way you want to. There are about 50 apps that I've never even opened in this menu, but I have to deal with the lag issues because they can't be removed. When you start having memory issues with aps, it's hard to get around them. If there was a way to uninstall and install them so that you could clear the cache, the majority of these problems would probably go away. The last is the connection issues with Alexa. Ironically enough, I've found that it has everything to do with Vizio side. Every week or so, the TV loses connection with Alexa, and it's always on the TV side. Either the TV suddenly forgets it has a connection, or the website drops the TV from being registered from my account.

Hello Sabriel, Sorry to hear you are not having a smooth experience. I would love the opportunity to have our technical support team learn more about the issues you are experiencing. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often with firmware updates. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. To clear the app cache, navigate to Menu > Admin & Privacy. There you find the ability to reset the TV's apps. When you have a free moment, our support team is available through text message, chat, or over the phone. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’.

This TV is great itself

I did research to buy an tv for over 1 year. I knew what I needed. The major was to cast easy European channels I've watched on my laptop. HBO Netflix and all channels they show in my country. Back to Visio TV. I was surprised It was so easy to set up. It has plenty movies to watch and for free. With some paid apps people they are tv watchers this Visio TV is a great choice. If some people are picky about quantum or other upgraded things they can buy Visio better series. I'm happy with the V series. Visio is way better than Samsung what most of my friends have. And what most important they way I set the TV l operate with 1 remote control only.

Great options, great screen, successfully cut cabl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this TV for a while and have successfully cut cable. There are plenty of free channels and all the apps I use/want/need are pre-installed (Netflix, Apple TV, Prime, etc), plus have installed a digital antenna for local channels.

I bought the Vizio V-Series 55” Class 4K HDR TV a few months back and it has exceeded my expectations. The picture is crystal clear and I can't get over how vibrant the colors are. It has several apps installed and I can watch all my streaming channels. The sound is great and doesn't sound distorted. Overall, this is a fantastic tv and exceptional quality. I would definitely recommend this tv!

Model number is not match ?!

The TV is light weight and the right size I need. The picture can't complain. However, there is on thing that I can't get rid of it. The model number in the tv system info is different than the box or the tv label. Which is V405-H9 on the tv system, but V405-H19 on the box and TV label. I don't know is that OEM printed the wrong info or does that mater? I brought several same models and everyone of them has the same problem. I return every others, but keep one for myself. I wanna to find out what is going on here. For a tech person like me, that is 10 levels differences. Please advise.

Great Picture

Had another brand get a line through the middle of the TV after 3 years. I have another Vizio 6+ years old and it is still going. Saw this for a great deal and decided to replace the now broken TV. Has an even better picture than the other brand. App navigation is great (other bad reviews said theirs were laggy...mine has no issues). Only reason not 5 stars is because I've already had to reset the TV to factory settings due to the wifi all of a sudden decided to not connect. Hope it is a one-time issue.

Nice features for apps

I bought this about 2 weeks ago. Like the tv for the most part however the sound is not great. There is no base sound so it echos and sound very twanging. The power cord is very tough to push in on the back of the tv and a few times I have had to reinstall that to get the tv to come on. I have had several Vizio TVs and have always been happy with them but not so much with this one.

Amazing picture quality, free cable, smooth design

I had no reason to buy this as my 6 year old 43" Vizio TV was still working perfectly fine, just wanted to upgrade. This TV is amazing, free cable, smooth app functions, amazing picture quality. Bought a new Vizio soundbar to go with it aswell, even though my old Vizio soundbar was fine.

Picture Quality is amazing

I've had Vizios for such a long time that I absolutely love them. This one is the best hands down from any TV I've ever owned. The picture is CRISP. The Sound is phenomenal! It was very easy to assemble & get going. The remote is Pretty slick and it works as a PS4 remote, which i thought was super cool!
