Disappointed

I bought this TV a couple weeks ago just before Discovery+ channel was released. Much to my disappointment I found I cannot add other apps or channels to what is already preset on this TV. My Hulu now thinks it is in a central time zone and no matter what I have tried I cannot correct it. This is apparently a known issue as I visited the help section and many people have this same problem. Tried the reset tricks suggested but it still didn't work. I thought perhaps casting from my phone to the TV would work but after doing that for a few days the volume buttons on the remote no longer controlled the volume. I would push the button and 2 minutes later (I timed it) the volume would appear on the screen and change. I had to do a factory reset just to go back to using the basic remote functions. I have just decided to when I want to watch Hulu or Discovery+ I have to go to my bedroom away from my family or drag them in there with me and not use my brand new 65 inch TV.

Amazing!!

We bought this television couple weeks ago as we needed to have another space for there to be a TV. This TV is in our living room it is our main TV and we are very very happy with the purchase. Clarity is amazing, set up was really easy and moving in between the features of the smart cast and our cable is super easy as well.

Easiest set up ever!

Love how lightweight it is and how easy it is to set up. This my second Vizio after receiving a smaller 27” for Xmas last year. The color on this larger screen is not nearly as clear and crisp and when watching a program on YouTube recently it was really fuzzy and seemed out of focus (so I watched it on my iPad which was fine). For those reasons I rated a 4 and not a 5.

I bought this tv a month ago and wish I had not. The color is dull, there's a white light all around the edges, the volume doesn't work right in most of the apps, the chromecast feature doesn't connect or work correctly most of the time, and the remote is awful (things like I push the power button and the volume goes up instead). This tv was definitely not top of the line from the start but I expected better than what it is. We've owned Vizio previously and never experienced such poor quality.

Great picture quality

I bought this about 3-4 weeks again and i love it! Especially for a first tv i would definitely recommend to friends and family. One downfall is the built in speakers they will rattle and distort the sounds quality but if you turn off surround sound it works fine.

I love the features of the television

We bought the television when we received our economic impact payment and we love it. The only problem I have is that I think that there should be more speakers or provide better sound because as we have it installed on the wall we have to turn the volume up pretty high to hear it for music and we are very much into music! Glad we bought the surround system because the television speakers themselves just wouldn't do!

VISIO IS GREAT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vizio for 2 years and so far no problems. It's got great color. The sound is pretty much where you set it.....so I like me that as I have trouble with one of my ears. I like the easy on feature. The apps work good too. All in all it's been a great find for me thanks to my son's recommendation!!

Can't beat the price.

Originally had issues updating the software during set-up. I could only get the tv/satellite to work. Internet was spotty, sometimes lost the controller connection so downloaded the app which helped. Power cycled tv re-established remote. But no Smartcast not Watchfree worked though Chromecast usually did work. Rebooted to factory settings a week later (probably after a software bug fix) it all came back up perfectly. Everything works now. I love verbally adjusting volume and tv inputs and play/pause/fast forward commands with my google hub. 65” screen is nice as I have Macular Edema and other eyesight issues. I can read most items on my guide channel now!

Wonderful Deal

Walking through a store we saw this TV. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock at the time. We were able to get it from a different supplier. We have been very very satisfied with the features and ease of use of this TV. We've used it for just a few days but so far we like what we see.

Great features and apps!!!

I bought this product around Christmas time last year, December 2020. I had already done all of my homework and put careful thought and consideration into buying a smart TV for my rambunctious family of 6! I love it! The features are awesome, you can store everything conveniently how you want it, and the apps are up to date with tins of new movie updates almost every week! The only problem that I have noticed is that there is a little bit of lag when switching apps, changing channels,, or adjusting the volume. The remote is a bit flimsy and cheaply made so if you don't want to encounter any problems with that, you can just download a VIZIO remote off of your app store. Other than that, Im super satisfied with my purchase. I am certain that I made the right choice when purchasing this item for my family!!!!
