Easy setup, great picture.

Easy setup, great picture. Hung it on the wall and the picture looks great. We were considering using the legs, but chose to hang it on the wall. We put the legs on and they seemed a little unstable, but again, ended up not using them anyway. Easy to use remote and the on screen displays were easy to use.

A great YV to fill the 40" category

This TV replaced a 37" Vizio which was a great TV, except that about 2 years ago the sound board failed and set couldn't be fixed. There were strict cabinet size restrictions and at that time no set on the market would have been usable. We were forced to incorporate a sound board. Last week the video failed and we were forced to look for a new TV. Now there are more sets on market that would physically fit cabinet. We chose this bevcause of our very positive Vizio experience, with the added feature that we replaced the 37" with a 40" in same cabinet. We were very pleased its operation and then found out about the included "WatchFree", and it was like getting icing on the cake. Great feature, especially with the pandemic restrictions. The 4K picture is much sharper that the 1080 on the old set and the color is much better. One drawback is that the color quality drops off more drastically when viewed from the side than with the old TV. Viewing from straight on to about 45 degrees to either side, the color is great. The price was great, about 1/3 of the price of the old set. I would buy this set again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Terrible mistake

Both brand new TVs died within a week. Same make and model. Meanwhile the older vizio that we've had for 4 years is still going strong and is now in the bedroom. Your quality has apparently gone down and we have gone with LG for our new 4K 50" TV for our main TV viewing.

Nice picture

I purchased this TV on November 29, 2020 and everything worked great. Then December 12 a blue line appeared on the screen from top to bottom about 2 1/2 inches from the right side. I contacted Vizio on December 14 about the blue line. I sent in all required information and was given a case number. I received an email on the 17th and was told a replacement TV was shipped with a tracking number. I was told I should receive it by the 22nd. I spoke to the carrier today the 23rd and I was then told it had just left the shipping terminal on the 22nd which is on the west coast and I live on the east coast. I am disappointed by the lack of communication from Vizio customer service concerning the replacement of my TV.

Most awesome television I've ever owned

Bought mine during black Friday 2019. The display is bright and vibrant from any angle. The sound is a bit low. I crank mine up to 70 usually, but knew this before I bought it. Adding a sound bar and additional sound to make this irrelevant. Many first smart tv and OMG!!!!!! My model came with so many incredible apps already installed. I'm getting hundreds of channels now. Why is that amazing? Because my home is very very rural, I don't have cable or satellite, and only was picking up 12 channels. Granted I was using my ps4 to run Netflix and YouTube. Shoo the difference of having hundreds of channels just through my WiFi it's mind blowing. Love this tv. 50 stars from me.

Good value to cost ratio!

Stumbled upon this deal while casually looking for a slightly larger alternate brand - the price was right enough for me to take a chance having never owned any Vizio products in the past. Set up was easy, and this TV is very versatile. Very pleased with my purchase!

NUMBERS TO SMALL ON NAME PLATE. Iam 78 years old

the time display on the picture screen is incorrect. How do I correct it? the clarity on My screen is Great. I love It. the 40 inch screen is perfect for my home office. My wife has to almost force me to come out and join her in our family room Big Screen TV.

wonderful tv

i bought this a month ago. i had a smaller tv in my room and decided to go for a major upgrade and this tv is pretty nice. it's got all the apps and is actually pretty easy to use i love it! the screen is amazing, the quality of the 4k is fantastic. the sound is good as well although i'm thinking about getting a sound bar for when i watch movies. it's super easy to connect my phone or macbook to it. i just love this tv. my only issue with it currently is that when connected to my nintendo switch i have a sound issue where the tv stops playing sound when the switch is docked. i have to like unplug everything to try and get the sound to work which is a little annoying but i'm sure vizio is currently working on an update to fix that. it's just some small bug. but other than that this tv is everything i could have hoped for.

Perfect!

I bought this tv about two months ago (I think?) and finally got to set it up about 5 weeks or so ago. It is the perfect size, the picture quality is fantastic, very easy set up and use, and it has perfect volume and various other settings available!

Decent TV for price

This is a pretty good tv for the price. Lots of apps and capabilities. My only issue is that I'm having some trouble casting from certain apps on my phone. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have only had the tv for a few days so I need to do some troubleshooting and hopefully that will resolve this issue.
