Amazing!

My first upgraded tv, I was still using my 1080I HD, 32inch tv, and I'm so glad the price range for 4K has gotten so much better that I was able to get this fantastic television. So many features, so many apps and they even have there own small free tv with Pluto Tv channels which I enjoy for the horror flicks and action movies. You can also turn on and off the USB port so that it's not just on waisting power, and parental controles can be applied to the ports of the HDMI to make sure nothing is connected or usable if you have already restricted the tv from the kids for bad grades or whatever the issue. Tons of features and it's at a great price!

Glitchy But Very Nice Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a few years. It still works very well except for the smart features. I was only able to get it to connect to my Alexa app for a few months in the beginning. Then the app updated and I haven't been able to use voice commands since. Which is a main reason I bought this TV. I only ever watch TV while I'm doing artwork with both hands like sewing or knitting. And even when I do have the remote handy, the ok button rarely works when trying to pause or make a selection. This causes a lot of aggravation and I end up leaving the TV on pause or the home screen because I find it so difficult to do otherwise. So fairly early on in the life of the TV, it developed burnout. A dark area in the middle of the screen that's quite big. It's like a reverse vignette. It doesn't seem visible while watching TV but is extremely apparent on the home screen and on info screens. Overall, I really love this TV and the incredible sound and picture. I just really wish it worked as it was designed to. I got it on a really good deal, otherwise I think I'd be super bitter if I paid full price for a TV that had features I couldn't use. Knowing the risk of these glitches, I'd still very much recommend this model if the sale is good.

Great TV

I've had the TV for a week and a half and gotten a lot of use out of it. The apps work great. The picture is awesome (though I did come from an older tv that couldn't even handle 1080p so take that with a grain of salt). Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Excellent TV

Bought the V405 to replace a 32". Easy to mount to a 20 year old stand; set up was very easy and took literally minutes. Last TV is fine but wanted to upgrade to a smart TV. The Vizio was great right out of the box and connected to streaming services including Apple AirPlay without a hitch. No cons to this purchase so far - I couldn't have picked a better TV.

Nice TV - Bad Firmware

Purchased two model and after the initial software update the TV's smartcast is bricked. the latest firmware does not work on either the V405 or V505 models. So a new owner who is hoping to stream content will not be able to until next firmware update. Customer Service is unable to provide a timeline on when this will be fixed. but has been an issue for quite some time now.

Excellent TV. 2nd Vizio Purchase

This is my 2nd Vizio TV. The 1st is in the family room ( purchased 6 yrs ago) and is still an excellent TV ( picture /sound) perfect. I bought this 2nd Vizio to replace a SHARP TV where the picture was starting to get distorted. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Just wish I would have gotten the M-Series ( cause only a Vizio can top a Vizio!)

The remote is the worst!!!

Picture quality is excellent! That being said, had we been able to handle the remote before purchasing, we would have looked at other brands instead. The remote is small, slippery to hang on to, tactical difficult to use for larger hands/fingers, and doesn't allow enough time between selecting features before defaulting back to home screen. All in all, the remote is difficult to use with one hand and difficult to use without actually looking at the remote. To add to the frustration....the tiny buttons and microscopic labeling on the remote makes looking at it in low light and/or without reading glasses difficult at best.

Hello Tvs4all, We appreciate that you took the time to provide feedback about the remote that came with your television. If you would like a more intuitive experience controlling your television we also have a SmartCast application in your mobile devices application store. This application will do everything your current remote does and help you discover what applications will help you watch your favorite shows and movies. We do also support voice control using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Great Picture

I bought this to replace an aging flat screen tv of the same size. I was amazed that the colors were so vivid. I can adjust the intensity of color and the warmth according to my preference. There are so many features that I am still learning them all.

Great color picture!

I bought Vizio V435-H11 Smartcast 43 inch t.v. a month ago and there has been issues from the start. The t.v. repair technician had to replace the mother board, including the injacks. There shouldn't be any issues at all because it's new. Since then, the t.v. needed a minute to "wake up". The feet are located at the far left and at the far right so, the t.v. isn't square on the t.v. cabinet. In my opinion, the legs should be closer to the middle to be square on the table. In a nutshell, I'm disappointed. I wish I had bought a Samsung.
