I had this tv for 2 days before the remote quit working. Was told it was shipped but two weeks later no remote. Than told it was because of copid. Why wasn't I told that at the time? I have a smaller Visio for 5 years and it is still working fine

"SmartCast"

For a "SmartCast" tv, smartcast is THE WORST FEATURE. It's hit or miss. One day I can cast to my TV just fine the next day, nothing. Now everytime I turn the TV on, it prompts me to register the TV. I've ALREADY DONE THAT. It won't allow me to go to the home screen. It won't allow me to switch to the smartcast input. I'm seriously considering returning this television. Sucks, I was really excited about it.

Nice price

Brought this on rollback and thought sweet price for the size. Did not realize all the extras it came with, like those installed apps. Hubby prefers going thru firestick, but daughter loves being able to go straight from home screen. I do wish you could delete the installed ones you don't want and add some of your own, but I rarely watch TV, and so long as Hulu and Netflix are there, I am good.

Great screen, horrible interface

I love the screen. But I have to use my amazon fire stick to make the tv usable. And then it's nearly impossible to change the input. I don't have any channels. I watch only streaming content. The only way I can open Netflix or YouTube or any app to the tv, is by casting from my IPhone....also the remote is just awful. There's 100 buttons on it.....so it's basically useless as a smart tv. I'd take it back if it wasn't such a pain. And I'd buy the Lg.

Great tv for a great price

I have loved Vizio since I purchased one about 10 years ago. That tv lasted until an accident caused it to fall off of the mount. This purchase has the same great quality of picture. My only complaint is that the sound doesn't seem to be as prominent, and the remote is almost impossible to use.

I Love My VIZIO Television!

I have been a lover of VIZIO product for almost 10 years now. I brought my first in 2013 and never looked back. It was a 42” flat screen. I decided to get a bigger screen this year to get ready for football season. So I purchased a 50”. My next move is to get an VIZIO soundbar to complete the set. I just love the brand. Great picture and the color is on point. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Great features but poor quality picture and sound!

I purchased this TV for a bedroom. The smart features were good and I liked the remote design but when it came down to the picture and sound quality I was really disappointed I tried to adjust it but had no success. I ended up returning it for another brand.

as always, great picture!

Love my new 50 inch. My 2nd Vizio. Best picture, easy to set up and get going. The Free TV tided me over very well for awhile until I got internet service. I occasionally go back to watch the Free TV even now. Bought another Vizsio as a Christmas gift for my daughter and son-in-law.

New Interface with Apps

I bought this to replace a V505-G9 that I inadverntantly knocked off our stand and broke it. The screen was contained in the crash, but cracked. The new TV has a much more friendly user interface. It is able to use features in some of the apps that allow a better 'rewind' experience, it has easier implementation of apps and has subtle improvements that just makes it a nicer to use product. I even think that the processor may be a bit faster, but that could have been just done with code improvements. Either way there seems to be less 'waiting'.

The picture is crystal clear and beautiful color.

I bought my first 32 inch Vizio television on April 1, 2011 which came highly recommended to me by a friend who had one and loved hers. It had been a great television all these years and I decided I wanted to upgrade to a Vizio V Series 40 inch. I heard so many great things about them. There's a couple of other good brands out there I was considering but I figured once I find a brand name that's good to me I stick with it. No doubt that when I buy my next television in the future it will be another Vizio. You have an excellent product!
